My favourite makeup guru on RUclips hahaha! My favourite Disney movie growing up was Hercules. There is the part at the end where Hercules has to jump into the Underworld to save Meg and they look all nasty and old. I bet you could do an amazing job recreating that. Meg was squished by a big column, so that could also factor into the costume.
I paused in the middle of this video with an idea... do you think it could be helpful to put the container of warmed gelatin onto a heating pad? I've melted chocolate by putting the dish of chocolate onto a heating pad- I didn't even need the microwave! I figure the heating pad might extend the working time of the gelatin.
That's a really good idea! Personally, I like the different stages of gelatin since they all have a use - when it's hot I use that really liquidy form to lay a base or to smooth edges, when it's almost too cooled to use it's great for adding texture or making big stringy pieces that don't drip off your face.. But if you could control the temp of the heat pad so that you could choose what stage you wanted to work with, that would be beyond amazing! The race against cooling gelatin is a bit of a pain when you're making a mess with it! Thanks for commenting about it!
Glam&Gore Aww, thanks! The heating pad I have right now has 4 settings, ranging from "ooooh, that's nice" to "GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFF!" I can see it working at least for some of the stages, hopefully! Watching your channel always brings back my theater days in college and the time I worked as a makeup artist at a portrait studio. Fun times, fun times!
