Family Law Attorney here: Child Support in Texas is 20% of Net Income (for the 1st child) but there's a reduced percentage if the father has multiple children with multiple women. Also a contract to terminate your parental rights isn't enforceable since termination must be done by a Court and your flimsy contract doesn't bind the Judge. lol

Wouldn't any contract like this be unenforceable anyway considering she is trying to essentially contract the unlawful act of prostitution? Also, it's arguable that receiving a one night stand is nominal consideration for a child you will likely end up responsible for and 20% of your income.
You're advice on train barriers are exactly what I've told everyone for years, I've never understood the mentality to leave the vehicle on the tracks especially a large truck, I understand sometimes a truck will get stuck here and there but if it's mobile just drive, if someone won't move their car push it with yours, anything is better than a train
Very true. But the bigger concern is, why did the barriers come down so quickly like this? It is very foreseeable that someone would pass the first barriers before all the barriers start to come down. Like, not the foreseeable lawyer kind that Attorney Tom always talks about, but the foreseeable engineering kind. There is a literal 100% chance of this happening at some point during the lifetime of those barriers:
I agree I find it funny that people don't want listen to the barriers coming down and stop but then when they are stuck with on the tracks they suddenly feel the need to not to ignore it for some reason.
Same. Ram into the barrier, cause let's say 2k in dammages. Heck, even go to 10k$. Now, the truck and trailer plus the merchandise in it, plus the train damage, you are over the million $ in damage. On top of that, you made the train late, and probably delayed many others, costing hundred of thousands in delays. Not only that, but you risk your own life plus the train engineer life, and possibly others life too (seen one with a passengers train). Right off the start, your own life. Do they value their own life at less than 10k$??? Now, those barriers are MADE to be rammed into! That is one of their safety feature: a pin will break before that the barrier do, allowing it to swing open. So realistically, chance is that you make only a scratch on your own vehicle, plus a service call for the barrier.
@@howardbaxter2514 this is exactly why they are usually designed to only obstruct the side of the road that vehicles are approaching the tracks from, leaving the escape path clear for vehicles that pass the entry barrier

On the subject of the decoy wasp's nest: a lot of utility companies are doing remote cut and reconnecting now, so while the decoy may currently work, eventually they'll have a way around it. At 12:02, that electric meter doesn’t appear to have a spinning disk like the old analog ones did. They had to be read manually by a meter reader. It looks like it has a digital display, which means it can be read by a utility truck driving by, or if it’s a smart meter, it’s transmitting the usage wirelessly.
So wait, not only would we have to worry about the wifi stuttering and sending my trailer careening into traffic or off the road, but since it's self driving I also have to purchase gas for TWO engines? Or, if they're electric, use twice as much electricity to charge them? What is the upside???
Even if can't read meter, you get billed. It's called an estimate and is based on previous usage. Once get reading you are correctly billed or get credit if over paid.

One thing I always wondered is what will happen to liability insurance when fully driverless cars become the norm? Where we don't even have accidents anymore.
The Toyota thing, as described, is NOT autonomous, it is remotely controlled or driven. The control inputs of the leading vehicle which ultimately control the following vehicle are ultimately determined by the driver of the lead vehicle.

I saw a guy killed on a loop ride just like that one. He was the owner. With long hair. Working on the ride while in operation with guests on board. His hair got caught I guess under the traveling ring that holds the actual "train", then it came down, hit his head and his arm was across trying to free his hair, so he got picked up and carried half way up the loop. The operator stopped the right, then reversed it, which freed the body to fall 20-30 feet to land on a low steel fence segment, back first. It was horrible, and he was probably dead when his head was struck. Long hair, not tied up and secured. Working on the ride while it was running...with guests on the ride. When I worked at Six Flags any of those things were instant termination. You don't work on running industrial machinery.
hypothetical - a youtuber told me to break the barriers if i'm stuck on the tracks with an oncoming train. who's liable for the damage from the barrier? (it depends!)
In this exact case, the city would be liable. The reason why is because of how quickly those barriers came down. There is no way someone would be able to get off the tracks in time when those barriers started coming down.
@@howardbaxter2514 Except there were probably bells and flashing lights long before the arms went down. Unless you are deaf AND blind, you should have stopped WAY before the arms even started to go down. If you are deaf and blind, you shouldn't be driving anyway. Also, if you look at the timestamp on the CCTV video, it's obviously been sped up, the arms do not *actually* go down that fast.

I had to sign off on safety checklists knowing full well 2 seatbelts on my ride didn't work, because my boss threatened to leave me in the middle of a dessert. The one time I told the fire Marshall what was going on, he dragged me in front of my boss, it quickly became apparent they had a history.
Candy land amusement, and Family shows of Houston, for anyone that wants name.
What level of legal liability would I have had, considering I was being forced to sign the safety checklist under duress?
That hitchless towing thing is so bad for the environment oh my god.
Fortunately, Devin in the leather jacket was for a skit.
If a food item had that kind of language on it, that wouldn't deter me from sueing them, that would deter me from ever buying that food!
On the subject of the decoy wasp's nest: a lot of utility companies are doing remote cut and reconnecting now, so while the decoy may currently work, eventually they'll have a way around it.
Also, like Tom said, eventually they'll probably just cut off the power at the pole. I'm betting the reconnect fees are gonna be extra special for that.
Could the fact they include that you can't sue also proof that they knew escalating a product liability case into a negligence case
The carnival ride thing freaks me out. My kid loves wonderland (like a six flags style park) but at the local fair i wasnt throwing them on one of those potential deathtraps
If it’s the Park I think it is, isn’t it more of a Cedar Point style park?
When I saw the fair video I instantly thought of Tom. To bad he did not play the rest of it where he said he would still ride it. 😂
The donor one, literally asking for a service, and then asking the person for money is just ridiculous. Like that's even dumber than asking someone for that ludricous amount of money for nothing.
FYI, it wasn't footage from 'Curb your Enthusiasm', but cell tower pings that exonerated the suspect in the teenage murder case.
The photos certainly helped though.
@@AugustStephenson397 did they? I watched this story recently and from what I remember, they found some footage, but it was far from clear enough to be admissible in court.
Imagine Wall-E rolls up and tows your BMW
At 12:02, that electric meter doesn’t appear to have a spinning disk like the old analog ones did. They had to be read manually by a meter reader.
It looks like it has a digital display, which means it can be read by a utility truck driving by, or if it’s a smart meter, it’s transmitting the usage wirelessly.
So wait, not only would we have to worry about the wifi stuttering and sending my trailer careening into traffic or off the road, but since it's self driving I also have to purchase gas for TWO engines? Or, if they're electric, use twice as much electricity to charge them? What is the upside???
Re the Wi-Fi trailer; If anybody happens to run a wifi jammer in the area for any reason then nope will happen.
Devin is giving off "friend's dad going through mid life crisis" vibes.
Legaleagle is the absolute worst.
Even if can't read meter, you get billed. It's called an estimate and is based on previous usage. Once get reading you are correctly billed or get credit if over paid.
Whole song!! Thank you!!!
I gotchu fam!
So I follow and watch Legal Eagle because one day I hope the Florida Bar will allow me to use his videos for CLEs. And I find his information to be informative and fun.
I follow and watch Tom because his videos are entertaining and fun. And where legal eagle has a lot of interesting information, Tom has a lot of practical information.
He’s so proud he has legal begals number
My brother on a drunken night. Hooked up with some chick on tinder. Had a one night stand and now has a kid. That he pays 46% percent of his paycheck to this woman. Who only works 2 days a week. The courts favor woman. (Support, alimony, custody) So much it’s sickening.
(PA, caps more then 50% of your monthly income)
One thing I always wondered is what will happen to liability insurance when fully driverless cars become the norm? Where we don't even have accidents anymore.
Thanks Aaron W, I was beginning to miss hearing the full intro. Such a catchy tune.
Regarding the food, warranty cannot be waived under the UCC according to a recent video by Steve Lehto.
1:27 can you believe here in Poland an ambulance(!!!) tried to make a u turn after it got stuck between two barriers and got hit by a train?
Welding on a truck towards gas canisters…bless their heart because their mind sure isn’t blessed.
Right because the wifi never goes out 🤣
Please do one of the work safety videos, its been so long!!
So train barriers are made to bend, so if you get caught in between, HIT THE GASS. THEY MOVE WHEN YOU HIT THEM
12:00 I need to know, if someone who had a vasectomy takes this woman offer up, is he liable for something?
I'm glad that house collapsed before someone could move into it.
I love how legal eagle is your best frienemy
Ill be your Donor. Dont worry you dont need to look anymore A.T.
Aren't most train barriers made so to be easier to break from the inside incase you get stuck between them with a car?
The editing on this video is chefs kiss
Honestly whatever you wanna eat for lunch is your prerogative and whatever someone wants to steal from the office fridge is gonna get what they get..
I would NEVER put my horses in a trailer that supposedly drives itself. I’d rather let the horses drive.
I've decided if anyone ever steals my food, I'm adding some heat to it, not much at first.
But if it keeps going then obviously they can take the heat
Actually there are fully self-driving cars (the google waymo for example), and some of them have gotten into accidents lol
What if you in the back of a police car on the train tracks???
it would never happen! 🤔😏
I'm pretty sure the power company has other ways of cutting power to your home if something like that were to actually occur.
The Toyota thing, as described, is NOT autonomous, it is remotely controlled or driven. The control inputs of the leading vehicle which ultimately control the following vehicle are ultimately determined by the driver of the lead vehicle.
Unfortunately for thieving coworkers, I like spicy food. Helps with waking up, minus the caffeine.
What do you call a welder who doesn't wear eye protection
Blind
9:34 how do you only lengthen the tubula and not also the fibula?
Did the truck actually not break the barriers? Does he know how deadly an unstoppable machine is?
Did Tom say "anonomy"? 🤣
11:46 So people below 18 are free to apply? Gotcha.
9:36 Some one should really tell Tom that you measure your height from the ground, not the ceiling.
honestly, i aprechiate the consistent human struggle of replacing the mechanism of a straight beam of metal with complicated technology. this is not the first time it happen, and somehow, shit sold, and infact, partially lead up to the advent of modern printers.
6:44 with the propane tanks: they could be empty.
Wait, so if business contracts say I can't sue them (they require arbitration), can I still sue them anyway?
Depends. Talk to a lawyer.
Wow how stupid do you have to be stop in the train tracks when the train is coming. Phenomenal. Just astounding.
That beehive on the power meter.
Great idea, for delaying your payment, and getting additional fees, and possibly having your house burnt down by the government "on accident".
Also, I live in an area where they use smart meters that are connected to the internet. So no one actually comes out to read the meter anyway.
It depends, are you willing to eat a cat food burrito in court if sued?
hypothetical - a youtuber told me to break the barriers if i'm stuck on the tracks with an oncoming train. who's liable for the damage from the barrier? (it depends!)
If it's on camera, you're liable. If it's not on camera, the city will fix it.
And in the event you are parked on the tracks before the signal/lights/bars go off, you are too stupid to have a drivers license. Also, if you look at the timestamp on the CCTV video, it's obviously been sped up, the arms do not *actually* go down that fast.
So, we'll have self driving towing, based off wifi.... Did we forget how Canada had a huge internet crash through Rogers a couple months ago? This is such a recipe for disaster. Just because something is cool, doesn't mean it's good for society. It better have more safety redundancies than well designed elevators.
4:02 legally speaking animal feed is considered not for human consumption and could be considered poisoning
Pet food can be rated for human consumption, so it depends.
In my country all pet food is labeled as not fit for human consumption.
There’s a show about the guy at the dodger game it’s actually really good. On Netflix. A random camera guy filmed him when he was trying to be pinned for murder
Have you guys shown him that king of the hill episode where they destroy the McMansion?
You definitely cut the end of the carnival ride clip where he says that he's going to ride it anyway.
Correction.
Violence isn't the answer.
Violence is the question.
The answer is: IT DEPENDS
I love his rivalry with Legal Eagle
Tom overlooked that the woman in last case looked for someone starting age 16! That's a minor!
Pretty sure he said "First off that is very illegal". He didn't specify he was talking about the 16 year old part, but nothing else he had read so far was illegal sooo
@@3xceIIent that part was about sperm donor not using artificial insemination, he specifically says this. It is illegal since she also charging money for it later. That she is soliciting a minor is the most illegal part. Mentioning it would have probably restricted the video even further though.
Common misconception. Age of consent varies by state. In many states the act would be legal, but they would need a guardian's approval for the contract.
Distributing photo or video of the act would constitute child pornography, though, as that cutoff is 18 nationally.
Are you going to talk about David Dobrik’s response to Jeff Wittek lawsui? Thank you
The sixteen thing could be allowed depending on which state you love
I saw a video of "extendo-leg" guy they broke his bones (not the worst part) then attached a device to the bones that pulled the bone apart while it was healing
Regarding the decoy video. 1. They have wireless digital meters just about everywhere now because they are gunna get that money. 2. If they cannot read your meter for some reason, they will just bill you for the projected amount based on your address's typical usage, and refund you the difference if it was over. Are you kidding? My power company and my house have a 60+ year history, they send me a graph of my projected power usage for the year every month in the bill. They aren't going to miss a check from you, they'll just put you in the dark if you don't pay what they say.
I hope the illegal eagle is a recurring character
Sweet, a Pirate Tom video. I love that guy .
smeagol the eagle going sue the White House
Just wait till Leonard French bombs your reddit with photos of him in every imaginable weird hat.
self driving cars suck. its like riding with someone driving that has their learners permit
