At the workplace Filipinos are at the forefront of getting the job done. Westerners are there to manage but Filipinos are left on how to make things work. They’re the action force when others could not perform.
Likewise, Filipinos are versatile and knows more than one skill,in fact several so relying on them is a given.

I get what you're saying! Growing up near the beach, I always thought the one closest to me was the most beautiful in the world. But then, I started traveling around the Philippines and realized each beach I visited was just as stunning. Every time I went somewhere new, I’d find myself saying, “This is the best one!” The Philippines really does have some of the most gorgeous beaches.
I was kind of let down when I went to places like Phuket and Bali. Sure, the resorts were nice, but the beaches themselves didn’t even come close to what we have back home. It’s crazy that our beaches don’t always get the recognition they deserve. The few that make it to the top lists are usually the super touristy spots, which can lose some of their charm.
What I really appreciate is how many of our beaches are still untouched and peaceful. They’re not overrun with tourists, which is great because it helps keep them beautiful. It makes me feel lucky to have so many stunning, hidden gems here in the Philippines.

People that have more freedom are more creative. Creativity, intelligence, and more freedom might be the best recipe. Individual and group creativity is a very important trait for a successful endeavor. Cultures, traditions, and environment do play a major role in human development. Practice of unscientific old cultures, old traditions and old beliefs offer restrictive or limited freedom often hinder and feed negative impact on human developments and creativity. In Asia, Filipinos have had western cultures inducements making them more open to changes and more engagement welcoming in nature with sociable ethics of assimilation.

If only this government is sincere and alloted more for education and health, I would suggest that we erect in each barangay a tutorial school managed by qualified and/ college graduate mothers or college level students who have time to spare. Pay them some honorarium for the hours they have rendered; provide them free snacks at least. We will not hire teachers again para hindi di sabihing doble gastos. Students will not pay but they could use the help of these teaching assistants or tutors as supplement. Equip them with one set of textbooks in all levels and a minimum of computers for them and the tutees to use. Let us help our teachers and students. This is just my suggestion. Kaso nga binawasan nmn ng pindo ang education. And health!!!!- give the tutors fair medical insurance para maka pa check up agad pag nagkasakit.

However, too much smartness and resourcefulness can hinder innovations and inventions. Filipinos make things difficult task work, a company engineers should have design, built, bought new advance machine but this Filipino can make the old one work. Company made more money but innovations suffers and slows down progress.

Low PISA scores may be alarming for the Philippine education sector, but such numbers do not necessarily mean that the young students will no longer become competitive in the future workplace. Even if a person does not possess great scientific, mathematical or linguistic skills, he/she can still achieve greater things through hardwork and determination. As Dr. Howard Gardner-author of the book "Multiple Intelligences"-mentioned many years ago, there are many kinds of intelligences all people have. For instance, there is interpersonal, intrapersonal, existential, bodily-kinesthetic, naturalistic, spatial-visual, and many more. Such intelligences are very broad-ranging and could never be quantified through PISA tests, IQ tests, or other examinations administered in schools.🤔🇵🇭✍️

    • @beuvue
      @beuvue День назад

Do you know the difference between a country like Finland and a country like Congo?
In Finland, after reading the book “Multiple Intelligences”, those in charge of the Ministry of Education get together and establish an objective, an educational program, and then provide themselves with the financial and human resources needed to develop all the facets of their children's intelligence. These people work hard for the future of their country.
In the Congo Rep., those in charge, after reading the book, declare that it doesn't matter if the country doesn't score very well on the various international tests, their children are smart anyway, since different facets of intelligence can't be measured by tests. With these positive thoughts, they sleep very well. And those who embezzle money from the Ministry of Education sleep very very well also.

I check International Mathematical Olympiad medals that shows Philippines ranked at the bottom of ASEAN. Here is numbers of medals for Mathematical Olympiad of ASEAN countries from Wiki
    Country Gold Silver Bronze
    Vietnam 69 117 85
    Thailand 34 70 53
    Singapore 25 74 74
    Indonesia 6 30 61
    Malaysia 6 18 35
    Philippines 4 20 43
How about Physics and Chemistry Olympiad medals obtained by Filipino students?
For Physics Olympiad medals, Philippines is not listed in the top 25 countries and neither in the top 37 countries for Chemistry Olympiad medals.

Sorry ! But with an average population IQ of 82 a country can not produce many engineers , architects, medical doctors, surgeons, airline pilots, etc.
Facts : the Philippines have been lagging all other countries of South East Asia in terms of economy and development and there is NO signs of trend reversal 🤔

No doubt Filipinos are among the smartest and brightest but probably not on top. Education is lagging behind in Asia alone.

Filipinos queda tan en Pacífico. Mayoría de los Filipinos , de por especial en Estados Unidos, quieren que se los etiquete como isleños del Pacífico e Hispanos, pero no como Asiáticos. ✌️

Put an average Filipino in the harshest condition possible together with these top 10 smartest people in the world, let see who will come out alive.. lol.. That's the reason why Filipino Soldiers are the master in guerilla warfare and why Filipino skilled workers are sought after around the world, because of the adaptability, creativity, and ingenuity even at the worst possible situations. We eat hardships for breakfast with a smile in our faces.
