I used to sing this to my first born son. He was murdered 7/23 and I still sing it to him during my healing process. I just don’t understand how people can think they have the right to take your baby from you. He was my baby, he meant the world to me and now I’m broken without my beautiful boy.😢 My heart is so broken 😞 I don’t know 🤷♀️ if I can survive this, the pain I feel is in my heart and in my soul. Holly crap! I've only heard the original 1967 by Frankie Valli and a few other version that I didn't like as much, but this girl made it her own style and owned it. Never heard of Lauryn Hill until I saw her in a Santana concert, then I looked her up and she continues to impress, won't lie I'm no fan of rap, but this girl really knows how to make rap sound more melodic / singing like.

This is a remake of Frankie Valli's song by the same name.
I'm 33 now and with the way hip hop has changed it just really makes this album pure gold. The 90's era was the best decade of music because it had the best variety of music from every genre and everybody still looked naturally beautiful. As a young black girl I memorized this entire album and the way she told her story through her music is why I will never stop listening to it.
