This is just too good. The topic, the face, crispness in editing. The way this whole video is crafted is simply amazing. Looking forward to more of them 🙏

Why is it difficult to digest that a mother is a nurturer whereas a father is a provider? That's how they have been built biologically. The term equality was coined to emphasize that irrespective of ones gender and role everyone deserves equal respect and opportunities however, it was never meant to replace each other. Women and men are supposed to coexist and support each other to maintain the harmony and trust me its beautiful that way.

hey this was very interesting. The new Mahindra ad is a great example of gender neutrality in media. It would have been ideal for this 😊

I never noticed that they were supposed to reveal the boxer to be a girl in the end. I always assumed her to be a girl throughout the ad, because boxing is a sport for girls.

Very nicely compiled...do add the new i20 ad featuring ahana kumra...its seldom women appear in car ads as their powerful selves
P.S - the bande acche hain ad is bit misunderstood...it means though men dont mention it or brag about it (jatate nahi hain) they subconsciously do a lot for their family...(doesn't mean women brag either😂 its just a human trait of doing good silently)
The sunlight thing is - your partner is immersed in reading unaware that sun is too up..so husband comes and adjust just to comfort her..and its ok...also the road thing is because men are protecting the women from men only...they know how some men are..someone might pull them, push them or grab them...so the change of side..they are not being great there ...just cautious of people of their own gender might do !
So overall its in good will...(my own thoughts... not asking someone else to agree too 😇🤟)
Too long a comment 😂 but keep going..all the best 🤟

hey aarti , firstly I'd like to say I really appreciate you taking the time to see the video and then taking the time to respond to it. That's incredibly kind of you. I see where you're approaching it from and you are right aswell . These positive intentions were definitely that of the advertisers who created it. Let me just argue my point a little further about what issues its messaging has.
(for people following this thread : ad starts @11:24 by Icici )
when analysing these ads the first thing I try to identify is : are there any gender dynamics ? (i.e two or more genders interacting over various situations)
and the second thing is : what then are the gender dynamics in these interactions ? so let us now see what the advertisers chose to focus on in these situations
1.Father helps family across the wooden plank onto a boat. the dynamics father goes first, checks plank while mother and children wait at the back.
2.Husband is observably getting ready to go for work and wife is shown picking up his towel as he protects her from hitting her head.
3.The wife comes down in the night alone to return her husbands wallet. And then she walks back alone in the night. But the ad focuses on the husband who waits in the cab for her apt. lights to turn on so he knows she's reached safe. who If really cared would have gone up to get the wallet or walk back up with his wife. But he just sits in the cab while she's coming down and going back up . but we focus on how caring and concerned he is.
why not focus on the wife in this situation ?
4.In the sunlight ad , the dynamics is this is a simple question of male and female competency. would anyone ever read with light not falling on the page or would anyone ever sit with sunlight straight in their eyes let alone do both at once. The reason I point this out is that there again exists in this example a question of intelligence and competency. which like all the previous examples favour one gender.
5.The next example at the train station. The husband protects his child from running of the platform and then put his hands over both , wife and sons shoulder implying they're safe and that he's watching over them.
These next examples at the principals office and the bride are fine and a part of the advertisement that I found no issue with. The gender dynamics are fine in these.
The last one on the road again I agree could have been thought out better.
If they had switched roles of the man and woman or focused not on just showing how one of these two sexes are decisive, assertive, dominant, and career- oriented. It would have in my opinion being a much better ad.
I hope this brought some clarity on my position . I thankyou for taking the time
      ❤️❤️❤️

This duty is differentiated by man’s /man’s always impose their thought over womens and women have to do it .It’s a big issue but no one thinks about womens |But now days womens are literate that’s why they came to know who I am and why I am doing this work .A girl doesn’t mean she is not strong she works 325 minutes per day while a men work only 52 mins a day (by a report) so what do you think who is stronger a man or a women | If women come to differentiate with mens then no man have a single answer to it
    So stop gender differences
    Be a Human being (OK)
Hey man your video is so good and informative

hey , Thankyou for taking the time. I deeply appreciate it. I'd be happy to share my view quickly regarding the ICICI prudential ad with an example . there are different scenes in the ad but ill take @11:43 as an example. When analyzing these ads the first thing I try to identify is : are there any gender dynamics? (i.e. two or more genders interacting over various situations) and the second thing is : what then are the gender dynamics in these interactions? let us now see what the advertisers chose to focus on in this
      @11:43
The wife comes down in the night alone to return her husbands wallet. And then she walks back alone in the night. But the ad focuses on the husband who waits in the cab for her apt. lights to turn on so he knows she's reached safe. What was the point of focusing on the husband in this instance and why not focus on the wife in this situation ?
If the husband was really a " good man \ achhe bande " and if he really cared about his wife safely reached would have gone up to get the wallet or walk back up with his wife. But he just sits in the cab while she's coming down and going back up alone. but we focus on how caring and concerned he is as he sits in the cab ?
Again why not focus on the wife in this situation ?
