As guitar player wanna ask this .. when you put your plugins in that order .. in final you’ll get the amp than the reverb before the Cab which is in another plugin !! [amp]-[reverb]-[Cab]..Which is unusual ! I thought about the fact to put the amp in helix native in slot one than the IR in slot 2 than put back another helix native for FX which makes sens.. respecting the chain .. don’t you think !? And if you have better idea I’ll take .. instead of using two helix native by channel !
Awesome video man, I know this setup was used for mastering. Just want to know if it's possible to use this as a template while directly monitor guitar?
Awesome tones. Curious about what looked like stereo files for each guitar track. Why do you prefer stereo over mono and how do you go about tracking that way? Thanks!
Pete Winstead People often ask me that. The simple answer is that I've just always done it this way. I usually track all my guitars in stereo because my Axe FX supports that feature. It has always worked fine for me. I'm now so very used to it and I don't see the need to change it.
Is there some advantage to having your DI instruments recorded as stereo files instead of mono? Trying to understand why it's being used that way, seems like it's just doubling the file size for no reason?
Hey I see you use the 200ms Impulses instead of the 500. Is NadIR not good for the 500 or is there no "hear-able" pros compared to the 200 ? Great video and great channel mate
2 years late but I still use this video as a reference, thats how good your tutorials are! hahaha keep it up
this tone is so good...
Jon, Man, your tutorials are always so very well done. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you sir for this video am an audio engineering enthusiast, and i learn a lot from these videos!
Man always so useful info from you guys!! Love you channel!! Hope to see a q&a sometime..
Thanks Jon. I was hoping you would do something like this. Cheers.
Should do a comparison between the Archon in the Helix and the new Waves Archon plugin which
is really good as well.

That sim sounded really junky before you polished it up. This was a great tutorial.
i dont know if you own a fractal audio device, but if you do,you should do a tutorial, thank you for making this video!!!
I own an Axe FX XL+. There are a bunch of videos on this channel featuring that device, check them out! ;)
Sonic Drive Studio cool for sure i will check out those Fractal videos
Looks like you can dig much deeper with Native than with a hardware solution like line 6 helix or hx
hello thanks for tutorials
make video on new plugin prs supermodels
Only One Question ! Why you don't put IR inside Native ? and use Nadir for load IR ?
Do you think there's a sonic difference between Helix Native and Helix Floor?
Awesome video man, I know this setup was used for mastering. Just want to know if it's possible to use this as a template while directly monitor guitar?
you know how to make killer tunes dude, this sounds really good!!!
Where can I get more impulses to nadIR? :C
Nice mixing job! Somebody uses their ears and learned how to use the tools. Sounds sinister.
What drums are you using?

There's no real reason. Just an old habit I guess.
Please share patches 🙏👍🎸
Any demos with real drums?
I’m new to Axe fx, how does the ownhammer stuff differ from the factory available cabs? I prefer in your face sounds for playing/practicing. Thanks
Hi man Nice video, Where do I get the IR IMPULSE?
www.ownhammer.com
Are you adding the tape and vmr after helix native? What would happen if you added the vmr before native? Would it color the signal favorably?
Yes, your audio sucks.

Great video and great channel mate
How much of difference is there between loading the IR through the Helix plugin vs seperate?
Peyton Cox soundwise the difference should be very minimal but I just prefer the browsing when using the external loader.
