You are amazing guys, but one thing... I see you remove what looks like silicone or something similar around the edge of the display and under other parts and you do not reapply it during the re-assembly. So the iPhone 11 Pro is no longer water proof once it's been opened?
correct even if the gasket is replaced the seal is compromised from what it originally was. there is a way to make it seal tighter w a primer but i don’t know if its 100% of what is was
can someone tell me which plug for the volume buttons are? My "quiet" button has no function and I would like to check whether the plug is properly seated.

You’ll need to clean old one and to apply a new adhesive seal to restore the waterproof feature.
