    The one thing that you guys have forgotten to include in your video is that the bulls historically have not developed talent because of the lack of development staff they have not have a shooting coach and head of player development for 30 years since 2023 shout out Peter patton

      @@TheCoz27 IMO he's an exception. Besides his work ethic bringing him to a top 10 player at one point, who else have the Bulls helped develop in the last decade? Since the GarPax and current Art/Eversly regime, its been less about building from the ground up and retooling with the help of vets/traded guys for better or worse.

    He’s only 23. The NBA is an interesting league because a lot of players don’t get the chance to grow if they don’t show success year 1 or 2. I’m happy to see him figure it out. He was so fun to watch in college and he can have a solid long career

    • @t4d0W
      @t4d0W 8 месяцев назад

      Its not like he's a bust either. Especially in the 2019 top heavy draft where other guys in the top 10 outside of Zion, Ja and Garland haven't showed much outside of being role players. Colby's scoring was probably to keep him in the league but how it improves will add value to his overall game.

    The Bulls have lowkey drafted well. White, Dosunmu, Williams, Markkanen & Carter Jr. could have been a solid young core.. Even guys like Portis, Daniel Gafford and Doug McDermott have had success in the league

      Exactly, if they developed their players , team could’ve been. Coby, Zach, PWill, Markannen, Wendell Carter… Orlando Picks, Franz Wagner, Jalen Sluggs. Team wouldve have crazy talent if they focused on development instead of retooling around players like Derozan & Vooch.

    • @t4d0W
      @t4d0W 8 месяцев назад

      @@WarOfWords810 Wendell Carter has developed well but he certainly fits a team equipped with spacing and two very good shot creators. The problem with gathering all those young prospects is that out of those young guys, someone has to step up to help make the game easier for the other guys who are limited in their roles. Which is why for the Magic it has worked out focusing their offense on Paolo and Franz. With the length on the front court they also tried to make their back court not be tiny. So while Suggs learns the nuance of being a playmaker, he can focus his energy being a 3&D type guy.

    As a perennial Coby White drafter on my fantasy teams, he's got stretches of literally feeling like he's a fkn god. But then he'll let you down when you need him, so I really gotta see consistency around him tbh. Maybe having him be a focal point is going to accelerate this development and show that consistency with more touches, and man, I am praying for him...both for the sakes of my bags, and the sake of seeing super high level basketball from this awesome young dude.

    • @t4d0W

      Yeah I'm not seeing anything totally different from his game other than doing more with volume and in a great hot streak. Verno is right to point out improvement isn't linear and Colby may be the case. But I'm all for letting the talent show how they can continue to grow than just crowning the guy building a great statistical scoring run in 2 months.

      A competitive team wouldn't want DeRozan? He's on an expiring too. Lakers, Warriors, Suns, Mavericks desperate. Heat, Cavs, Pacers, Kings are close and could certainly use him.
      Lauri Markkanen going back would be poetic and the right age for Chicago, but going to take more picks and players to get him out of Utah. Too bad he didn't blossom in Chicago.

    • @baconspam

      @@whitshane3511 I really like DeMar, he's a bucket-getter, but I'm not convinced that any of those teams would give up anything of value for him. It might happen though! And yeah, Lauri rules. I blame GarPax, and also Jim Boylen, literally the worst coach of the 21st century. Lauri should have been awesome on the Bulls but this team just sucked ass while he was in Chicago.

      @@whitshane3511 The Bulls gave up beans to pry DeMar from the Spurs but off a S&T. I don't think those teams have contracts/players the Bulls want to match the money. Lakers, Suns, Mavs and Warriors can't afford a non-shooting slow footed wing. Neither can the Heat, Cavs, Pacers and the Kings already have their big wings. Ainge is def not giving up Lauri whom he's boosted his value for an expiring contract.

    I think they might only move DeRozan before the deadline since he's on an expiring. They have the luxury to move LaVine and Vooch in the off-season because of their long-term deals. I don't think they'll get great returns on any of those players though.

    As a NBA fantasy manager owner of White the most amazing advance he's had this season is the Assist/TO ratio since the start of the season . He is a good finisher, ok 3pt shooter ( can improve) but he is becoming quite good managing the game.
