Laganas is a town on the island of Zakynthos in the Ionian Islands of Greece. A large part of Laganas is a national park, established for the protection of turtles, and is probably the most popular holiday resort on Zakynthos. Here you can visit the beach and taverns with typically Greek and international cuisine. Laganas lies in the southern part of the island in the heart of the bay of the same name in the Ionian Sea, from which the three small islands of Sotis, Pelouzo (Peluso) and Marathonisi (Turtle Island) peek out. After dark, Laganas comes alive. The resort is considered the busiest on the entire island. The beach turns into one big disco and crowds of young people enjoy the fun. , Zante

No thank you, unhealthy food stuffed with sugar, noise and mass tourism...young people will like it but we like a tropical island without people just nature. We did start with Europe but it became too small...Sweethearts have a wonderful vacation and enjoy every minute!!! I love you anyway! Unconditional.
