Found this chat really interesting. I just did my own recording with Dan a few days ago. I turned 54 in September and got my diagnosis of Autism a couple of weeks later, so only a month ago, so hearing from someone else both late and recently diagnosed is particularly relevant for me. Coincidences abound - I was born in Sheffield and have also taught young people, many of them on the spectrum! I've also lived in Nottingham for the last 20 years or so, it has its issues but it's a vibrant student city, I'm sure your daughter will love it here Nick. Teaching nearly killed me too (mentally and physically) and I loved it.
