Hope you all enjoyed this little update. Super excited to get this rig finished up! Until then stay tuned for some more great videos and projects that I've got in the works. 🔧 As always thanks for watching everyone. 👍
@@MakeItRC Also to mention, AMT's tires that are 22" are usually included with their truck kits based on trucks from the White Motor Company; White, White-Western-Star, White Freightliner, Autocar - these trucks have larger wheels compared to trucks like the GMC General, so most of AMT's fleet will fit your 3d printed wheels. Another tip, the AMT kits "Freightliner FLC", "Western Star 4964" and "Peterbilt 378" are 1/24 and are repacks of Italeri kits. their tires are also larger and of different design.
nice video! I have been watching your videos for a little and its gotten me looking at my MPC 1/25th scale 1978 dodge Monaco police car. I was wondering if you had any cheap suggestions to make it rc with a functional lightbar. i have looked over the internet and i cant find any good kits to use. i dont own a 3D printer so i cant print my parts, nor can i find anyone who would print them for under 150 bucks. If you can reach back out, that'd be amazing. any info would be great!
As long as it's 1/24-1/25 scale I think it should. Might need a slightly different track width but the frame design on EU trucks are basically the same. As mentioned though, a different body mount design might be better for the cabover trucks.
Most likely, but not until we really get the design more finalized and have several trucks built. Want to ensure it's a good enough product to sell physical kits. 👍

Semi rc rigs are what got me into the hobby in the first place. Dig what your doing. 👍
The chassis is turning out really nice. The cradles for the electronics are a very simple way to tuck everything under the cab.
Thank you. They ended up working out really nice. It should look even better with the fuel tanks and side steps installed.
You might want to make the 5th wheel tilt back and forth, especially if you plan to have a working suspension on both the truck and trailer.
Very good point. 👍

Awesome, good to know. Appreciate the info. 👍
That little rig got a lot of growing up to do before he car drop his load in the loading dock lol 😂
6x6 chassis as well!
Definitely can’t wait for this to come out
Glad you're excited!
Awesome.
I can do the Dm 800 and lowbed with d8 I built as a kid almost 50 years ago!
I don’t think you need a remote fifth wheel unlock, superfluous
Cool 👍

Differentials, definitely needs differentials….
Question.
Will it work with EU cabovers?
As long as it's 1/24-1/25 scale I think it should. Might need a slightly different track width but the frame design on EU trucks are basically the same. As mentioned though, a different body mount design might be better for the cabover trucks.
Will you be selling the printed parts kits by any chance?
Most likely, but not until we really get the design more finalized and have several trucks built. Want to ensure it's a good enough product to sell physical kits. 👍
@@MakeItRC Hooray! I am finally motivated to build my Mack kit.
