They're still around today, but much, much more expensive and infinitely more detailed. They're called 1/6 scale figures. The most notable brands that make them are: Damtoys Soldier Story Hot Toys Dragon Dragon in dreams Very Hot Very Cool BBi (Elite force) Toys city Mini Times toys ACE workshop Of course, these older figures can still be found across Ebay to this day.
