Leon was introduced as one of the main characters in Resident Evil 2 as a rookie cop. His first day on the job he had to survive a zombie outbreak. So this figure is based off of his Resident Evil 4 look which is 6ish years after RE2. He's now a fully trained agent working closely with the president. One of the best characters in the series!

Huge resident evil fan. The only reason this casually aired figure exists because of the appreciation of the look of the greatest horror game franchise of all time. A game that perfectly exemplifies the predicament of the world we live in. The horror 🤩👽

Hey man, wanted to give context on Reaper if it's not too late.
The character's name is HUNK. The outfit the figure has is based specifically off his Resident Evil 2 remake design.
The alternate head he has is not him. It's another member of his team named Ghost who was playable in the ehat if scenario called "Forgotten Soldier".
The vials he comes with are the G Virus samples which in the game was his target to retrieve. But what is interesting is as I looked into the details of HUNK to see what the figure did right and wrong, I came to the conclusion that the vials and case on the figure are based off a noncanon entry in the series called Operation Raccoon City. The case and vial are closer to the design in that game over the remake of 2.
The last thing to note is the figure is incomplete. In the game he had an MP5, shotgun, pistol, and magnum. He doesn't come with the pistol and I think that's important to bring up.
If I missed anything I apologize but I wanted to give some quick tidbits for that figure. Looking forward to the review.
Figure looks insane! Ordered today! RE4 is my all time fav PS2 game. Can't wait to try the remake.

Just got mine on Friday! I can't really have 5 versions of Leon but I decided to go with this version since it's more universal and not just that RE2 look when he was a rookie cop.
Amazing figure and review! Just picked one up the other day.
I should've jumped on this when I had the chance smh. The fish is from a part of the game where you can use fish as a healing item and it's part of a sidequest.

To sum up Leon's character...
He was essentially a freshly graduated rookie cop whose first day on the job was the LITERAL zombie apocalypse in his stationed city; Raccoon City, which has now been nuked off the map to avoid the continued spread of the T-Virus infection.
Now, Leon works as a government agent directly under the US president's orders as he's basically both his loyal bodyguard and an agent who hunts down manufactured bioweapons by bioterrorists worldwide.
As for your upcoming review of the figure called "The Reaper", or as he's known as in the RE franchise... "HUNK" (Human Unit Never Killed), he's like the John Wick of the Umbrella Corporation's "Umbrella Corps" (the Umbrella Corporation was the pharmaceutical company whose illegal and inhumane experiments created the T-Virus that spread across Raccoon City).
HUNK's nickname is also Mr. Death. HUNK gets that moniker being as he tends to be the sole survivor of the squads he goes out with on missions.

They’re coming out with other characters soon, me personally love everything about this action figure but the face sculpt is so off. I’m waiting on limtoys Leon re4 figure since the face actually resembles the video game

As a fan of Leon i can say it looks really awesome! I love it.
You had the right belt picked out for the pouches, I have been waiting to try attaching them myself lol. I saw another reviewer take some nippers and cut the bottom of the plastic loops on the pouches, so that all three could just hook onto the belt. Seeing that the buckle is too big for the loops makes me think that's gonna be my method as well

Great review. Maybe the fish are a Troy McClure situation 🤔 Do the pouches go on the leather belt? I think it can be undone.
Capcom don't want $ then 3rd party will have to make it for them.
You can shoot or stab the fish in the game. Some of the bass can regenerate full health
I like to see how u have all your figures displayed in your house cuz sounds like u have a lot based off how u talk in your videos

Does anybody knows if this figure is going to be released again in 2024? I preordered on kghobby the eta was dec 2023 but now i was informed that it would be released q1 or q2 🤔 anybody on the same situation?
The fish is a joke because in the game if you shoot a fish a big giant monster shark will kill you instantly

Leon ain’t no Peon.
My wrist pegs broke right out of the package. Hoping 5ktoys will send me a replacement but I have already modified some pegs to work in their stead. Really wish they stuck to a harder plastic for the pegs and I am also not a fan of the ankles at all. I still think it’s a decent figure but the GMtoys “totally not Hunk” Reaper is the better of the two at least in terms of the body.

I really wanted to like this figure but it’s kind of a dud for me. The proportions look very off. The head is way too small and the legs are way too skinny, especially the ankles which look and feel absolutely terrible. The accessories and details are all good, but I don’t think they justify the figure to me. I hope the NWtoys version turns out a bit better.
"I dont know" you could do a bit of research before reviewing some products that are sent to you, that would be the minimum effort you could do.
I did some research but ultimately I’m not here to give you a bio on the character, I’m here to show you the quality of the figure and I was hoping to get some info from actual fans that would entice me to learn more about the world. We could educate each other.
