Egmanton Level Crossing

Saturday September 8 2012 at 12.05. The 11 am London to Edinburgh (15.31) train whose 1st stop is York after 108 minutes. This is Normanton Road, Egmanton although the fine village website doesn't claim it as an amenity for some reason. Egmanton is 122 miles north of London and, apart from a trip to Liverpool, its as far north as I've ever driven. As you can see they get superb weather up there. There's a windmill on the left missing its sails.
