- Pickering Parkway Terminal, located at the Pickering Town Centre shopping mall, is a main transfer point for DRT services in the Town of Pickering. It is located across Highway 401 from the Pickering GO Station and is connected to it by a pedestrian bridge that spans the 14 lanes of Highway 401, as well as Pickering Parkway and 3 sets of tracks. In 2021, the bridge became a Guinness World Record holder for the longest enclosed pedestrian bridge in the world.
In 2023, Durham Region Transit lost several of its transit buses in a fire at the Oshawa Bus Garage. Several TTC buses have been leased to Durham Region on a short-term basis.
Of note, many routes in Durham Region interline and buses may be found on multiple routes over the course of the day.
