    People please, I am a proud black woman who happens to love Kpop and PSY. If you translate the lyrics you will understand that the lyrics are not offensive. Live life to the fullest and be happy. This is by no means a racist song. PSY Fighting!!!

    @KittyLoopy 11 лет назад +18

    네가 is pronounced like 니가 most of the time. The Korean language, much like the English language evolved over the years and so new pronounciations are made from words. It's a non-formal way of saying "you are." In other words, Psy is saying that "you are a champion" so everyone can just stop fighting about the nonexistent racism in this song.

    I listened to this 10x back to back solely for the thrill of hearing PSY drop the N Bomb over and over again.

    One thing I really dig about PSY is his humour...I have watched several of his videos and they are quite funny! Gangnam Style is known to be humourous but yet his other previous videos are as well....I think he was able to break into a global market without really trying with his Gangnam style is cus he just does what he likes without trying to make himself into something that he is not....

    I just checked korean lyrics and he says 네가 (nega) but it's different from 2NE1's 내가 (naega). 네가 = You. 내가 = I.

    Naega and Neega means different things. The "Ga" is like "are" in this context so you are saying either "I am" or "You are."

    It is an original song by Harold Faltermeyer, from the movie "Beverly Hills Cop". It has been used as the basis (a sample) for many other songs.

    It's funny how Americans and whatnot think they can use "Nigga" in raps and what not...yet they cause a riot when a Korean singer ( who is quite better than a few of these US singers, mind you) uses a word that sounds like it - but actually means 'You'.

    I thought Naega (내가) meant "I" ... as in 2NE1's I'm the best, they say "Naega jeil jal naga" (내가 제일 잘 나가) they're not saying that "you" are the best, but them.

    You write it as 네가 but it's frequently pronounced as 니가 and is written as such in informal usages. So yeah, he IS saying "nigga" but he's not speaking English here. Problem?

  • @drifterzcrew24
    @drifterzcrew24 12 лет назад

    The way he pronouces the word is wierd, it doesnt sound like hes saying 내가 or even 네가, its sounds alot more like 니가. The ㅐand ㅔcharacters make almost the same exact sound when put together with the singular characters, it makes an 'eh' sound. The ㅣcharacter makes a more 'ee' sound, which is why it can be confusing even for korean people to see. When i first heard the song back in the day i thought it was 니가, not 네가.
