21:10 - Saul's bodyguard, the big guy who padded Jesse down, got the cigarette from Jesse. If you go back and watch episode 12 you can even see him put it in his pocket. It's a little unclear exactly what Saul knew but he does make clear here that he didn't know the kid would wind up in the hospital. So I don't think he knew about the lily of the valley part of the plan, only that he needed to get the ricin from Jesse and probably that Walt would take care of the rest.
The greatest motto of all the states in the US, Live Free or Die baby. NH is such a GORGEOUS state especially in the fall. This final season is a 10/10.
I’m a Canadian. But I worked five years as a long-haul truck driver. I made it to most of your states and New Hampshire is by far my favourite. I love Freedom. The only state where you don’t need to wear a seatbelt. I wish there were more places that were free like this on the planet without totalitarian rules.

In the second to last episode of the 4th season when Jesse confronts Walt in his house. Everything he tells him about how Saul lifted the cigarette is right on. It’s just that Walt manipulates him into thinking otherwise.
@ exactly! it’s like people don’t understand the concept. There’s nothing ironic about the motto. Or the fact that it’s printed by prisoners. Those prisoners are a perfect example of that motto.
I absolutely love watching this show with you, Evie, and it’s bittersweet that we’re now in the final season - it’s hard to believe it’s coming to an end! I’d love to keep watching more with you, so if you’re open to it, I’d like to recommend a few shows I think you’d really enjoy: The Wire, Sons of Anarchy, Mr. Robot, and Dexter. These are all prestige television and in the same league as BB. So If you haven’t seen any of these yet, I truly hope you’ll check them out. I’d be thrilled to continue watching more shows with you. You’re easily my favorite reactor right now!
I don’t think Saul knew about the plan with the lily of the valley. I think Walt just asked him to get the cigarette and he didn’t know anything beyond that. He may not have told him why he needed it, or maybe told him some BS that he was afraid Jesse was going to hurt someone or himself with it or something.
Yeah based on cold hard facts that happened Skylar herself didn't pick ted up and slam him into the counter but culpability plays a big part in the universe. Just because you didn't personally do it doesn't mean you didnt cause the circumstances in which something bad happened. Ted would never have had a reason to run that fast at all had he not been in that situation.
Was season 4 better than 3 and 3 better than 2? I don't how the writers do it but they pull it off. Every new season is better than the previous one and thus until the last couples of episodes than are out of this world. Just amazing! And if that wasn't enough, they keep doing it the same thing with Better Call Saul. Again, though starting very slowly, every new season gets better. Another phenomenal show written by phenomenal writers and directed by geniuses. You won't be disappointed, it's guaranteed.
Throughout the show people like to talk "oh, Heisenberg came out". Treating the "Heisenberg" like literally some kind of person Walt seemingly switches to. Tbh I never saw it like that. Heisenberg started out as some sort of nickname. And imho it was always just that. All the bad stuff Walt did... It was still him - Walt. Just changed. If anything I could only say that we saw some sort of Heisenberg persona only in season 5, after Walt killed Gus. Cause only after that his ego truly exploded like never before. He definitely started feeling like 'that guy' What a fascinating story of a man and study of his change and his gradual decay. And almost all of it fueled by his ego and fails in his life.
Its starts in episode 1 when he kicks that 'kid' that teased Walt Jr. Through out the show you can definitely see different Walts. He switches back and forth and the longer it goes he doesn't switch back. I think you should watch the show again 😅✌🏾
@@ViraL_FootprinT.ex.eIt is that deep , Walt says it when he gets chemo. He lived his whole life in fear. That fear slowly went away. That changes a person deeply.
@BennyBlancoNL lol. Don't want to be rude, but that is exactly what I'm talking about: you guys see it as if it's some artificial switch between Jekyll and Hyde. Almost like the guy had some sort of dual personality disorder. That's funny. Cause according to your logic... Whenever someone does something bad, it's like it's not that person? It's a different person, an alter ego? That's funny. Or hey, let's say my name's Darek, but i gave myself a nickname Darson. So I assume I'm usually Darek, but whenever I do something bad it's not me, it's Darson. And people would be like "oh no, Darson came out" That's basically your logic. "Oh look, Walt did an angry face and kicked the guy, it's Heisenberg" LMAO
@@BennyBlancoNLYou're referring to visual symbolism, Walt before and after diagnosis. Which is purposefully invoked by the writers. You're interpretation is valid. What OP means is that people take the symbolism too literal and treat Walt like he has split personality disorder. Walt isn't two whole personalities in one, it's all the same guy. Walt just has a intricate personality. He's capable of both kindness and cruelty. Both good and bad, which explains the "Breaking" part of the title.
Is season 5 better than season 4? Everyone will have an opinion, but it's close either way. Season 4 was built to be the end in case there wasn't a season 5. I lean to 4, but I loved 5 too. Another season of BB was always welcomed.

It was always a big joke, the license plate says "Live Free Or Die"... and the tags are made in prisons by convict labor. Ironic.
It sounds like those convicts didn’t take those words to heart. They could’ve chose either, but chose neither.
