I will literally watch every video you post (even though I’m not super into makeup haha) you and Tyler (and Gigi of course) are just such a joy to watch! You’re definitely that RUclipsr that I feel like we’d be friends in “real” life 😆 Thank you both for continuing to put out fun, positive content especially during these troubled times ❤️
As a new mum my preferences have changed regarding my RUclips watching, I've deleted a lot of beauty channels but not yours! You are still on the top of my list girl! ♥️
When I first tried out the Wet N Wild contour stick I had that color, it was too orange on my fair skin so I started using the shade "where's walnut" and it works perfectly.
I am seriously winded all of the time now. And I feel like all that I want to do is sleep. RUclipsrs like you and EmilyNoel are what are giving me joy these days. Thank you for staying so sweet and energetic and posting with your sweet family! You are keeping me sane, even if I am not putting on makeup much these days. Let’s be honest, PJs and a ponytail are my daily uniform during this crazy time! I will say that the few times that I have done my makeup it has been the color stay dupes you and Hot and Flashy recommended for the CT creams (caramel for Marie Antoinette, praline for Jean and the lightest one that I can’t remember the name of). I am 55 so cream shadows usually crease and fall apart on me, but these color stay are wonderful!
I wanted to let you know, I brought the Cerave SA lotion for my cracked feet on your recommendation (they didn't have the cream here), and my feet are awesome now. Thanks so much. I'm in the military and my feet have never been better.
Hi Jessica...thank you. Everytime when you say "and I'm telling you..." About something I always have Jennifer Holliday in my head...."and I'm telling you... I'm not going..."*singing*
I guess if you have more to cover you kind of need to use a brush, for me a sponge reduces coverage so much that the benefits of the finish don’t even matter any more
Use a brush for speed, coverage, and ease. Then quickly go back over with a sponge to kinda push it into the skin, even out whatever streakiness u see. Tip from allie glines.
Hi Jessica!!! I just found you, you randomly popped up in my feed and I just want to say how much joy you bring me!!! I have been BINGE watching ALL of your videos and I’m loving it!! Thanks for being a ray of sunshine girl 💖💖💖
I feel the same way about weekends right now! During the week my children are doing school virtually so that keeps us on a schedule, but when the weekend rolls around there is nothing to do!
I've been working from home since March 13th (still am as of May 5). I'm glad that I am able to, but I feel like work and home have blended together so much that weekends have lost all meaning. Weekends used to be a break from commuting, and you could hang around at home all day and take care of stuff around the house...which is all day, every day now...
Yes! The weeks lately have been flying! We are so ready for online school to be over and warmer weather to begin! Thank you for sharing a drugstore video. There are products I have in my collection that I've forgotten about! Stay healthy 🌸
I love being productive and being busy. It makes me energized and feel good. When I start to have too much free time I completely crash. Like I can’t do anything at that point I just feel so unmotivated and lazy, and it takes so much to get back to my productive self again. It drives my boyfriend crazy because he loves down time an having nothing to do. It annoys him when I get up to clean or something lol.
I was scrolling through my feed and I saw the thumbnail for this video and it caught my eye right away. You look SO FRESH in this video, I had to know what you were using and how you applied it. I can’t wait to try something similar with my makeup tomorrow.
As for foundation brushes, try using the Sephora or eco tools brush you love using for cream bronzer! I love just stippling my foundation on with it, it’s super quick and looks airbrushed
Excellent video, as usual. Personally, I live for my weekends! Busier than ever working FT as an LPN so, trust me, I absolutely love when I have some down time. I'm a bit jealous that friends are getting closets cleaned out and little projects done... but I hope you and your family stay safe and healthy!! Keep up the good work!!
Yes the weeks are somehow flying by! I can't believe yesterday was garbage day again! lol. Apparently, at home with a 2 year old, the garbage man driving by on Mondays is the big excitement of our week... and the only way I know what day it is.
That recipe video was so great. I’m fasting so I haven’t had a chance to make them. I will tell you that I made that Jimmy Kimmel pasta, I added tomatoes and onions and used nutritional yeast instead of cheese, it was so good! Maybe its an adult pasta after all!
When you were talking about your 3 quick meals video, it made me think of a video you should do! I'd love to see a video of all your (and Tyler's) favorite Alton Brown tips/recipes! :)
I LOVE the elf brush for foundation. But I don't like move it around in a circle like others. I actually brush it and then stipple my foundation in. Then I take sponge and go over that. I feel like you get the best coverage that's seamless
I love the wet n wild contour stick! Its funny because i thought i wanted to declutter it and i set it aside than a few days later i found myself missing it and i just adore it especially for how cheap! I wish they would just change the shade range and make some more undertones. Also love the cream stick blushes they have ❤
I pretty much don't wear concealer anymore, I don't have dark circles either & agree that it emphasizes fine lines! I'm with you on the weekends, too, not as much fun when you can't go anywhere. Love the No 7 powder, too!
I recently purchased the L’Oréal foundation. I looked up reviews before and honestly yours is the one that convinced me. I’ve been wearing it the past couple days and I absolutely love it! I’ve never had a foundation look so great on me. I had honestly given up on foundations and resorted to just using BB creams.
The ultimate blending brush is one of my main go-to foundation brushes! I do not like the elf foundation brush though, the bristles aren’t dense enough and it ends up streaky
Try a powder brush for foundation not those giant super fluffy ones but smaller one like the Sephora collection one you use to powder your face it gives you the most natural look and coverage at the same time and you use half the product you usually use and even when you build it up it still looks more natural even more than a sponge
My favorite foundation brush is the IT cosmetics heavenly luxe bye bye foundation No 22 brush or the IT brushes for Ulta airbrush full coverage complexion No 77. They’re triangular and work really well for those light to medium coverage foundations that you really want to blend seamlessly into your skin.
Jessica you have been KILLING IT during this time with your videos (you always kill it, but even more so now.) I have been going back and watching so many of your and Tyler's old videos (I'm currently on last year's vlogmas, Gigi is ADORABLE!) I need friends like you and Tyler in my life who love musicals and Harry Potter! Keep it up girl, you're rocking it. (Was that too much? Sorry I feel like we're best friends at this point, the same way you talk about Coffee Break with Dani haha) PS- have you guys been watching the full length Andrew lloyd Webber musicals that The Show Must Go One has been posting? ALW has also been posting videos about the musicals and it has been so much fun being able to watch a different ALW musical every week and I feel like you guys would love it.
I have 3 weeks of school left (technically 12 days yikes) and these weeks feel both really fast and agonizingly slow. Fast where i feel like i dont have enough time to catch up on lectures and reading but slow because i just want my break already before my summer sessions!!!
Could you do a video on some of your nail polish routines right now? I have recently gotten way better at painting my nails and found that when Im not sucking at it I actually start to really enjoy it! haha and with all this free time I'd love to see what you'd recommend trying out!
JESSICA I HAVE A RECOMMENDATION FOR YOUR BRONZER! The Sephora color & sculpt stick bronzer and contour (basically a stick bronzer!) in the lightest shade 01 clair (there are only two!) - they are GORGEOUS neutral/coolish matte bronzers, VERY creamy and longwearing, HG for me now! (Like my Missha bb ever since you recommended it - late to the party ha!) But try that bronzing stick, it is WAY better than also the Milk one in my opinion! 😁
There are different kinds of videos that I like to watch while doing different activities, but your videos are always good! It doesn't matter if I'm eating, or putting on makeup, or baking. You are one of the youtubers that brighten up my day and instantly make it better! I also love the pawpaw sponges! I bought about 7 of them last time I placed an order. Along with two of their liquid eyeliners (which are sooo good!). I hear a lot about their foundation and would love to know what you think! Also also, have you seen the show Galavant? I think you'd love it! It's so funny and silly, but don't watch it while Gigi is around. It has grownup themes! It is my happy show (the one I watch when I'm feeling down and just need to sing along and laugh)
Made all 3 recipes. Keep them coming!!! Asian street tacos were my fave! My husband loved the egg & garbanzo. Mac & cheese was decent too! I made it w the chive and herb cream cheese from Walmart. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
100% agree...weeks have flown by since this started! I was just telling my husband that yesterday! Also, I don't like weekends right now...ugh I thought it was just me😂. My kids are almost finished with at home school work for the year and I don't know what the summer holds so I'm not really looking forward to that either. BUT on a positive note...we are enjoying this quieter home life. Stay safe and thanks for the videos💛
I like the shade oaks on you from the wet n wild contour stick, another one that I love the tone of is the jordana ones in the shade 2, I feel like it compares alot to my milk baked bronzer
I actually dread the weekend right now too! I live in Seattle and the running trails/parks are so crowded on the weekends that I feel like I can’t go on Saturday or Sunday. BTW, loved your running tips video! It was super helpful!
My husband and I have been doing virtual wine tastings with friends. Everyone buys the same wines (we order from wine.com) and then taste and discuss together. Something fun and different to do.
Wet N Wild also has the shades Where's Walnut and Call Me Maple in the contour stick which are a a little less warm than Oak's On You! Your look turned out beautiful as always 🥰
I am watching this before bed. I feel like I should have waited for morning so we could have coffee together and I can soak up some of your energy!! ☕️☕️🌸🌼
I've tried the Mac and Cheese last night and the Chick peas, Tomato Egg dish tonight. And tomorrow it will be Taco Tuesday. So far my Hubby and I liked them both. Thanks for the recipe's!😘
I can’t use a foundation brush alone. I have discovered if I go over everything with a sponge, I keep coverage and get a flawless finish.. win, win! My favorite brush is the IT flawless finish (132 I believe).
Hi Jessica, this is my first comment but been a huge fan for awhile now, love all of your videos and you,GiGi,and Tyler are the cutest! Have you tried the L'oreal Age Perfect Radiance Serum Foundation? Its glowy, hydrating, and applies so easily and beautifully!
On the concealer: I don’t know if you have allergies, but I’ve noticed that ALL of my liquid concealers are looking particularly dry lately, catching onto dry spots and looking flaky around my under eyes, particularly near the inner corners near my nose. I’ve realized it’s because my eyes have been super irritated due to all the pollen and I’ve been touching them a lot more, so they’re drier and flakier. I keep having to try not to blame the concealer-April for me is just a month when my eye area really suffers. I have allergy medication that helps dramatically with congestion and sneezing, but it really doesn’t do much for my eyes. I know you run (loved that video by the way!) so it could be weather/pollen related.
I bought that shirt on clearance at Meijer and my husband was not a fan, but I knew it was a win and you wearing it made me feel embarrassingly happy 😂😂😂😂
I love the Wet n Wild in Where’s Walnut but LA girl also makes some good cream stick bronzerrs and blushes. I find the LA girl looks a little bit cooler.
So I have three holy Grail makeup brushes. 1 is the tarte bamboo brush that's for foundation and it's fat and kind of squat lol 2 is the up and up foundation brush from Target and 3 is the Artis brush dupe I bought online from juno.com. it's white and gray marble. But I also use the aoa sponges and so does my daughter.
Hey Jessica ! I'm thinking about trying the Loreal Freshwear. It looks beautiful on you! I may have missed it, but did you set your foundation? Does it need to be set before applying blush etc...? Love your videos! 💜
The elf stipple brush is my favorite for bronzer both cream and powder. I’ve never found it in stores though and have always ordered it off the elf website
Have you checked out the RUclips vid that shows soaking your brushes all together in warm water, vinegar and a drop or two of Dawn dish soap (Kayleigh Noelle). You just soak 20 minutes and then rinse. Easy!
I feel exactly the same way about the weekends at the minute, we have full lockdown on the weekend, so I can't even go for a walk on Saturday and Sunday 😫

When I first tried out the Wet N Wild contour stick I had that color, it was too orange on my fair skin so I started using the shade "where's walnut" and it works perfectly.
Maddie Richardson thanks for the tip!! I need to venture and try that.
I feel you on the weekends thing. Without recreational activities, the weekends are no different from any other day. 😕
I am seriously winded all of the time now. And I feel like all that I want to do is sleep. RUclipsrs like you and EmilyNoel are what are giving me joy these days. *sits on the edge of my seat waiting for Jess's dupes video*
Yessss
I swear whenever I get a notification that Jessica uploaded a video, I’m watching another Jessica video and I’m like wait hold on!
I wanted to let you know, I brought the Cerave SA lotion for my cracked feet on your recommendation (they didn't have the cream here), and my feet are awesome now. Thanks so much. I'm in the military and my feet have never been better.
Melinda Thai I got it too! Huge difference just after a couple days!
Melinda Thai me too :)
I need it and the sunscreen.
Hi Jessica...thank you. Everytime when you say "and I'm telling you..." About something I always have Jennifer Holliday in my head...."and I'm telling you... I'm not going..."*singing*
I thought I was the only one that felt that way about foundation brushes 😂 I've used so many and never like how it looks like
Definitely prefer a sponge for foundation but I do use the elf one when I want a brush or when I'm too lazy to dampen my sponge.
I hate using traditional foundation brushes!!! I do like using a blush brush for foundation-so much more control and no weird texture or streaks!
I have been watching your videos for years and they really reduce my anxiety. Thank you for everything you do. ❤️❤️
Well I WAS going to clean the bathroom, buuuuut gotta support your girl when she drops a new vid! 😜
LOL multi-task - bathroom cleaning AND video! :)
I blast her videos while bleaching the sink Lol worddd
I listen while walking the dogs, doing laundry, or washing my face! Multitasking to the max! 😆
I was over the moon to watch a Jessica video on drugstore makeup! Made my day, so thanks!!
I have felt the exact same way about the weeks flying by! It's Monday, I feel motivated, I blink, it's Friday night!
Hi Jessica!!! I just found you, you randomly popped up in my feed and I just want to say how much joy you bring me!!! I have been BINGE watching ALL of your videos and I’m loving it!! Thanks for being a ray of sunshine girl 💖💖💖

YES about dreading the weekends. There used to be so much to look forward to on the weekends.
Selfishly I would *love* 5 videos a week because you are one of my favorite humans. I live for these videos!!!
The darker color of the wet and wild brozer is amazing, and does wonders.
I love being productive and being busy. It makes me energized and feel good. When I start to have too much free time I completely crash. I would love to watch a "cook with me" cooking a new recipe, like maybe in a vlog style?
She actually did a video recently that was 20 minute weekday dinners,I think that was the title anyway!
@@mistylingle9159 oh yes I saw it thanks! I was hoping for something new to them. Just for fun.

I love that everyone has reached the utmost level of boredom but still won’t wash their brushes 😂. I will do them soon... honest!
I love the L'oreal Infallible Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation! I wore it on my wedding day and it looked perfect.
Yes the weeks are somehow flying by! I can't believe yesterday was garbage day again! lol. Apparently, at home with a 2 year old, the garbage man driving by on Mondays is the big excitement of our week... and the only way I know what day it is.
Whenever I’m in a uncomfortable or depressed mood I watch your videos because it’s like talking to a friend and I love your videos 😊
You should try the Jaime Genevieve jack of using a mesh strainer to clean your brushes xx 😘 💕
That recipe video was so great. I’m fasting so I haven’t had a chance to make them. I will tell you that I made that Jimmy Kimmel pasta, I added tomatoes and onions and used nutritional yeast instead of cheese, it was so good! Maybe its an adult pasta after all!
Jess all your videos are awesome and I usually watch each video 2-3 times at least.
When you were talking about your 3 quick meals video, it made me think of a video you should do! I'd love to see a video of all your (and Tyler's) favorite Alton Brown tips/recipes! :)

yesss, please a full review on elf brushes!!!!
Highly caffeinated = talking super fast
Wearing nails = super expressive with your hands
Jessica is on another level today 😂😂
Omg you got me 😂😭
Love you too, Jessica! Your videos are so uplifting!

I like the shade oaks on you from the wet n wild contour stick, another one that I love the tone of is the jordana ones in the shade 2, I feel like it compares alot to my milk baked bronzer
I don't know if it's the serum or the mascara, but your lashes look astounding 😍😍
Much much love ❤️
Just made the Sesame Beef Tacos tonight: OH Yes!!!! The garbanzo bean skillet is in the dinner plan for this week too! Please keep them coming 🤗❤️
I actually dread the weekend right now too! I live in Seattle and the running trails/parks are so crowded on the weekends that I feel like I can’t go on Saturday or Sunday. BTW, loved your running tips video! It was super helpful!
Your shirt reminds me of rainbow sherbet and now I'm craving some!
Catching up on your videos..... cool cool cool cool. Just finished binge watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine and this made me giggle
My husband and I have been doing virtual wine tastings with friends. Everyone buys the same wines (we order from wine.com) and then taste and discuss together. Something fun and different to do.
I used my Real Techniques foundation brush with my Colourpop tinted moisturizer and it looked great and gave a little more coverage.
Wet N Wild also has the shades Where's Walnut and Call Me Maple in the contour stick which are a a little less warm than Oak's On You! Your look turned out beautiful as always 🥰
The weekend is a rough time right now, totally agree
Cute shirt! The califia cold brew is good too, especially the blonde roast. I’ve needed a new video, YT has been dead 😞
I really liked how natural your makeup looks 🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍
This foundation is gorgeous. Just ordered mine online.
Made the taco recipe and I LOVED it. My new favorite taco seasoning 😁
I love your videos! You have such a great personality!
I am watching this before bed. I feel like I should have waited for morning so we could have coffee together and I can soak up some of your energy!! ☕️☕️🌸🌼
Have you tried the Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana as a highlighter? Feel like you would really enjoy it- just a sheen rather than any sparkle!
Who else loves jess but cant help but cringe when she pulls on her eye to apply liner?
That's how I do it.
Omg yes I cringe so hard. Just looks painful.
@@seashellstyle1901 it doesn't hurt at all. And its so much easier. I don't understand the cringe.
Love your drugstore videos 💕 FYI I’m making your taco recipe for supper tomorrow night!
Love you Jessica!!! Your videos always brighten my day 💕💕💕
Would you consider doing "what I will be wearing this spring".? I love to see your outfits and jeweloty!
I've tried the Mac and Cheese last night and the Chick peas, Tomato Egg dish tonight. And tomorrow it will be Taco Tuesday. So far my Hubby and I liked them both. Thanks for the recipe's!😘
I can’t use a foundation brush alone. I have discovered if I go over everything with a sponge, I keep coverage and get a flawless finish.. win, win! My favorite brush is the IT flawless finish (132 I believe).
strong 90s vibes from the finished look
Hi Jessica, this is my first comment but been a huge fan for awhile now, love all of your videos and you,GiGi,and Tyler are the cutest! Have you tried the L'oreal Age Perfect Radiance Serum Foundation? Its glowy, hydrating, and applies so easily and beautifully!
I have not but I do eventually want to try it!!!
I too have a stash of pawpaw sponges.
You are so funny! A highlight in my day.....thank you 🙏
I heard that cool cool cool cool!!! I binged all the episodes on Hulu!!! I freaking love this show thanks for mentioning it in a video!!!
I just found your channel! Binged a bunch of videos :) love your content!
I could not stop staring at your nails! The color and shape is so flattering on you :)
I started using the Revlon pore filling primer under my eyes and my concealer stays so much better! And my eyes water a ton from allergies.
Going to make the tacos tonight! Excited to try. Thank you!
On the concealer: I don’t know if you have allergies, but I’ve noticed that ALL of my liquid concealers are looking particularly dry lately, catching onto dry spots and looking flaky around my under eyes, particularly near the inner corners near my nose. I use the elf ultimate blending brush with powder light coverage powder foundation! (Lancome dual finish is the least drying I've found)
I bought that shirt on clearance at Meijer and my husband was not a fan, but I knew it was a win and you wearing it made me feel embarrassingly happy 😂😂😂😂
I love the Wet n Wild in Where’s Walnut but LA girl also makes some good cream stick bronzerrs and blushes. I find the LA girl looks a little bit cooler.
Amy Lynn ooh I’ll have to look for the la girl ones. Bronzer in general always leans on the orange side for me.
Hi Jess! I heard that Mac paint pot eye concealer works great as a primer on tricky noses. Maybe something to try? Love you!
So I have three holy Grail makeup brushes. 1 is the tarte bamboo brush that's for foundation and it's fat and kind of squat lol 2 is the up and up foundation brush from Target and 3 is the Artis brush dupe I bought online from juno.com. it's white and gray marble.
