Hi Tom and Madge. When they take out the curve to straighten the road, do they have to chop down trees? You know in the U. S. They are developing every piece of land with luxury homes, businesses, etc. and the more the development, the less of the natural elements. I was told where I live, back in the 50’s and 60’s, it was all farm land. I can’t even imagine that. The deers are being pushed out because of the development and they are practically in the residential neighborhood’s in people’s yard and on busy streets. I think they should leave a lot of land, untouched in its natural state. That’s why I like the Caribbean Islands. I hope they preserve enough of nature and not build it up with all inclusive resorts.

Thanks for this very valuable update tom and madge...its very much appreciated.....the entire roadway will be two lanes one up one down but will be widened and improved all along and they will be partially removing that mountain and building retainment wall to make space for straightening of the road.....

Hi Tom, I'm back from vacation. Jamaica is beautiful. I visited all fourteen Parishes, and it was the best experience. My favorite Parishes is st. Elizabeth, Mandeville, Christiana, st.marys, port antonio, St. Thomas, 5:00 I miss the roadside fruits and food delicious 😋 I'm in four youtube vlogs 😊 the only negative side about Jamaica the crazy taxi driver which I hire the driver i used the first trip to Jamaica he's wonderful always on time patience respectful

Hello, Tom and Madge, I have 7 acres of land in Lloyds, St. Thomas that my father left me 60+ years ago. I tried selling it once, but there are no roads. The land is beside Lloyds Cemetery. I would be willing to sell or lease the land to Lloyds Cemetery. However, there is no contact information for them on the Internet.
