- What a day! I absolutely could not put off buying groceries for one more day. But I wanted to film it come hell or high water. Well, there was no high water but there was definitely hell. OMG! There was so much intrusion that I had very little actual shopping to show by the time I was done so I tacked on a grocery haul for you. It was quiet at home. Thank the Lord! Whew. However, I kept my cool the whole time. I even talked to a young boy that was staring at me with mouth agape. Mom looked at me kindly. Little sister was giggling. Young boy was all agog! I think the RUclips audience is getting younger and younger. So, this granny is kinda cool sometimes in the eyes of the very young. Haha! I hope you enjoy the great crinkles and beautiful sights of FOOD, glorious food!

I understand what you mean by the Walmart noise. It’s always chaos unless you go early in the morning. Yeah, it was hard to find paper products during COVID. I think because it was all about germs, and just throw away when your done eating, etc..

☺️ Ireland is beautiful to visit. But for living here there isn't much to do. I'm always so drawn to the states because it is so big with loads to do like theme parks and water parks and road trips etc. We don't really have much to do here for the children. And not overly great weather lol. X
I have heard that about Ireland. But the land and its beauty is something to behold. We definitely have the most amazing terrain and changeable landscape. Especially in California as you can go from ocean to forest to desert within miles of each other. You are right, we do have incredible amounts of entertainment. But you must go to the city to do that. I would never live there. But I have been to Disneyland and seen concerts and done many fun things here. Definitely come see it someday.

Top tip: if you crush up potato chips and mix it with some milk until it binds together you can make a pizza dough in a pinch then put toppings of your choice and you have a very cheap pizza

I have a few pointers 😎
1. CORN - we have a bin next to the corn pile, and we get to peel them at the store, leaving the mess there. Every store should have one!
2. PURSE - I found that I use the carts that have kid's seatbelts and click my purse so it can't be snagged.
3. EGGS - an old lady told me to "move" the eggs in the carton, if it doesn't move easily it's probably broken underneath where you can't see.
So here's my advice of the day for y'all!

Kroger bought Harris Teeter, so if you shop at Harris Teeter, you'll find all the same stuff. If there's one near you that is.
