Glad you had fun Max, it was great to see the dwarf blocks smashing their way through the competition only to be thwarted by one units disciple late!

Sounds that you had an event which would've been fun to attend.

Yeah thats actually an interesting point for infantry. My infantry heavy lists, as long as they dont break and get run down, you often end up with multiple badly battered blocks, but not give up to many points as your not below 25%. I think with the movement fixes for V3 your list is going to be way more fun to play.
I also think jack should have ran the tree's together and just blown through your units 1 at a time.

@@TheDuxbuse I think in practice the trees together is not necessarily a great solution, especially since I do have 2x20 GW scouts to counter him with. Adv5 isnt much faster than Adv3 when I have, at least, as many threats as he does to throw charges, and at a certain point if hes dancing around he will spend too long using 900ish points to set up charges against fewer. Plus, its not clear to me which flank can be left weaker without becoming a big problem.
Obviously play factors in and it certainly COULD work, but I think Jacks approach with the treemen was fine, and he was probably unlucky not to block me longer/take more points off me with them.
