Electric Guitar- *watches you pause to rock out momentarily* SOLD. I can't thank you enough for taking all that time to play EVERY sound this this comes with. It's the first thing i look for is a video that plays all the effects/sounds and whatnot. As an avid musician that always looks for the next cool/weird 'thing' to try out, you totally just made my day. ....Strike that. You made my month. Best wishes to you and yours this year, and keep sharing your love of instruments!
Hi Arun Sir, I have been a follower of your channel and love the way you play the EWI. pls. help me with the local Akai / EWI dealer if any in Delhi and also how would you compare the Solo with the 5000 ? Thanks in advance. Your help greatly appreciated.
I've been playing the EWI for almost eleven years (the EWI USB, then the 5000, and now this). I used to play the Indian bamboo flute, but no other (western) woodwind experience.
I have no idea, since I've never played an Aerophone. But it isn't hard to blow at all, I'd say. You do have to learn to not blow "through" the instrument, and let air leak out the sides of your mouth instead.
All of the EWI (EWI-USB, EWI-4000s feel similar w respect to blowing air) and these EWI's and Aeorophones can use the far better virtual sounds via MIDI. Listen here soundcloud.com/dstong The EWI key touch is very different from the Aeorophone -which is mechanical rather than capacitive (electric). I much prefer the EWI's feel, but others applaud the mechanical feedback which is far more similar to an actual saxophone. However, the Aeorphone has a better designed set of special keys for increased expressiveness in my opinion, even though the workmanship and solid feel of the EWI is not matched by the Aeorophone. Forget about using the built in speakers on any of these instruments- they're crappy and only useful for scale practice.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. Sounds better than my 5000.
Serious?
If it that’s how you hear it than there are 2 posibilities:
1: there’s something wrong with your 5000
Or:
2: there’s something wrong with your ears

This is so pretentious 😬
Thanks! Really helped.
Thank you! This was useful

How long had you been practicing before recording this video? Did you start on the EWI, or have you played longer than that? :)

It's hard to get a good feel for the actual sound when you play everything on the same octave.
Good point, especially for playing the tenor and bariton saxes.
Are you able to get a growl sound when playing patched like Saxophone?
Did you do anything with the settings, for instance, reverb?
Yes, reverb is set to large room, I think.
Harder to blow than the aerophone ae-10? Speaker Alone sound VS Aerophone ae-10 dual speakers???

The sounds are without amplification?
I just played the sounds on the built-in speaker and recorded on a microphone. So there is amplification, of course, but only from the instrument.
Thanks. Exactly what I wanted to know before committing to buy this modern marvel !
Can it play with expression? It's so flat a boring this way!
