I appreciate the HONEST video. You show all those 'perfect' book recipes are not so perfect. Love my ninja but there have been minor issues of course.
The chocolate chip cookie looks absolutely mouth watering. Thanks again Jeremy!
I made 2 cookies and softend some ice cream and made a giant ice cream sandwich. The kids and my husband loved it,
I am going to split my batter and make two cookies next time! Mine did the same thing, bottom wasn't done!
I have 2 - 6qt Instant Pots and ordered the Foodi today for my birthday present. I've been watching video's on you tube and can't wait until it comes!
You won't be disappointed with it. It's a great machine. Happy birthday!
I've tried the same recipe twice and it came out perfect on top but completely raw in the middle and bottom both times.
my foodi came with a roasting pan. i preheated the pan. then preheated again. no raw cookie dough in center.
Thank you for the video !!! Can’t wait to try it! Maybe I would put half less sugar and also adding vanilla ice cream on top! 😋
My 8" cake pans have handles on them and they didn't fit in the inner pot so I used an 8" spring form pan and it fit perfectly on the reversible rack and in the inner pot. I did have to add 5 extra minutes to the cook time. It started to get pretty dark after that and I didn't want to burn the top so I took it out and it deflated as it cooled. It ended up being more gooey than raw/uncooked in the middle but I really don't care for the taste of the cookie. I should have added some chopped pecans to it, I think that would give it a better flavor.
I love my FOODI!!! Brother, if you must mix with a whisk, get one of those heavy duty ones. I used to whisk cookie batter too and they make a huge difference.
Thanks for sharing Jeremy! Boo to the one thumbs down 😁
Yeah make sure to add extra time or flip it. I cut the cookie and it was still very raw and could no longer flip the cookie. So I had to cook it an extra 7 minutes since it was already cut.
Ryan Barry adding 7 min cooked it well?
@@griseldahinojosa5011 yeah I believe so. Sorry it was so long ago. I just remember that it was still very raw the first time. Or try to flip it sometime during the baking process. Good luck :)
Thank you 🙏🏻
It’s the foil pan. I cooked mine in a regular metal baking dish and 23 minutes was enough. It cooked evenly.
I had this same issue in the foil pan. Going to buy a real one to see if that makes a difference
I used a proper 8 inch cake pan and I cooked all 3 of mine at 20 minutes and well done. I never had to recook mine, temp was at 325 like they mentioned too. My first one was overcooked so that is why I cooked the other 2 at 20 minutes as the little not mentions at very bottom of page. Excellent cookie.
Do you think if you lowered the temp and baked it longer it maybe wouldn't get so dark and the center would be done without having to flip it?
Looks good now we know to add more minutes for it to cook all the way.
6 table spoon brown sugar 6 tablespoons white sugar
Semi sweet chocolate chips
Eggs
Butter
Baking soda
Flour
Preheat 325 for 5 min
Kosher salt
Vanilla extract
I just purchased the foodi the other day, but my concern now with looking at your video is that if I’m baking in it, that my food is not going to be all the way cooked when it comes to the pot in pot method (or pan in pot method in your scenario)
Great video! I just ordered a Foodi today. Question: I'm grasping at straws here - but does base heat up in combination with lid when in "bake" mode? If yes, you could eliminate rack altogether and have pie plate sit directly on bottom so cookie gets direct heat.
Suzanne Du4 I just ordered the XL it’s 8 quarts and I got 10% off by ordering it directly off of the website I can’t wait until it calms gonna be able to cook a 7 pound chicken in it
@@countrycitybeach I ordered it off website too with $20 off. Can't wait to get it -still waiting to get confirmation that it's left the warehouse. I'll have to decide how to get rid of my air fryer and pressure cooker now!
Suzanne Du4 I git 27$ off with the 10% off coupon. I think they are out of them. Already
@@suzannedu419 How long did it take to get it?
@@jandksplend Funny you should ask. I just received it today. I ordered it on Oct 31 from website. Thought it would come from Mississauga, ON warehouse, but it came from California.
Is this considered a pizookie?
Dude your voice is cool …I could listen to you read the dictionary! Lol
I used a real pan and it still came out raw on bottom. Had to flip and cook longer.
I'll make one in my Ninja food processor, then cook it in my air fryer lol :D
I’ve tried the recipe twice, both times, the cookie was way to dark and raw inside.
Kim Stueck did you ever do it again and it came out cooked?
All 3 of mine were all cooked and I cooked them at 20 minutes as per the recipe writes that at the very bottom. I don’t get it, so strange.

What about changing the temp to 350 for 23 minutes
I cook mine for 20 minutes as per a little note at the very bottom of that recipe. I cooked at 325, so I’m not sure why yours doesn’t cook except that I cooked it in a cake pan that sits on top of the reversible rack that comes with it so the air moves around the bottom. Not sure. Mine were fine, all 3times.
No you used a cheap foil that, was the fault of the operator not the operation
nope it wasnt done so im flipping and recooking after i preheat
I think you dough was too thick ✌🏻
Yep raw cookie so sad 😩
