Watching you create these outfits is so educational for me. It's not that your style is my style - it isn't - what I'm learning is that there's nothing wrong with the clothes I have, I just need to add things to make my look interesting. A simple idea, but I've spent a lot of time thinking that I've bought boring garments, or my hair style is boring, or I need better makeup on etc, when all that is needed is to "finish" my look. Now I know my wardrobe isn't full of boring items after all. Thank you so much!

Ah I love your videos so much! I'm also into thrifting! I recently came to the revelation that having the right things (for me) in my closet is the most important thing. Prior to decluttering I had so much that I couldn't find the items I loved. Now if I try something on and I feel 'blah' I just donate it. Adds to the thrifting karma😂
Love that! YES, if you don't feel great in it, you really should ditch it right away without regret. I struggle with this myself, thinking next time it will look better. It never does! The only blah thing I own is that beige scarf from the Parisian thrift shop that I magically started using out of nowhere. That's the only thing though. Blah usually stays blah.
J Peterman was an interesting mail order catalog with descriptions that made you buy things. The guy who created it sold it, then bought it back and I haven’t seen it in years.

I was in Girl Scouts for a bit and camping was my favorite part. We never did enough camping. It's all the boys did! I can't imagine it's easy to wrangle a bunch of 10 year old girls. I have this dream of getting rid of my entire closet and completely starting over. Maybe someday!

I did get that bird scarf at a thrift store but it had a tag on it. It was originally sold at Anthropologie years ago. It used to have tassels on it but I removed them. I just did a Google search for it for about 5 minutes and didn't see it at all so I might have to do a reverse image search on it someday for you!

I have to say, you must have amazing thrift stores around you! I only have a goodwill really and all I tend to find are old worn out tshirts and horrible blouses and stained STAINED things, and bad horrible jeans. I’m also plus size so that makes it harder. But I really want a good linen dress like the green one you found. Beautiful. And that silk olive blouse… wow so pretty for you! Man I wish I could find more silk.
You have orangutan arms 😂, I am the same, my mom is as well and now my daughter is too 😂😂😂😂. It can be really frustrating to find shirts, jerseys and jackets or coats that have sleeves that are long enough.
