I have a 14 Fiesta ST on stage two Cobb Tune MBPR exhaust, short shift kit, many visual improvements and sticky Michelin Pilot Sport tires, on my 6th set at 103,000 miles, and it still runs fantastic, my friends can't believe I still have the stock clutch. My tuner at fxworks had one and sold it, he really regrets it, they also have a Focus RS and told me the Fiesta was more fun to drive, at 74 years young it's the most Fun I've ever had driving. The Fiesta Flash.
@Tim Price What can I say, I just love driving this car, I smoked a Civic sport yesterday, I'm always racing someone, but favorite thing is the twisties. Age is just a number. Thanks for the comeback. The Fiesta Flash.
I thought space was a big deal for me, so I got a 2018 Focus ST, but after octane academy and driving the fiestas, I realized I never used the space and sold the focus and got a fiesta. I had fun with the focus, but man you can just fling a fiesta😂
Yeah, don't get me wrong, the Focus is a great time too but the Fiesta is a blast. And if you put down the back seat, you can still fit a decent amount in there.
Had a focus ST and really liked the car but never really connected with it. Sold it and have just been driving my truck for the last couple of years. About a month ago Fiesta videos started showing up in my feed. And now I can’t resist. With any luck I’ll be making a deal on one tomorrow.
@@Stattic_Co actually found a far better car other than having the regular seats. Going to see it Monday - it is two hours from here. I’m dragging a trailer because I’m pretty sure it’s a done deal.
My 2018 Fiesta ST came with the recaros, I fuckin love em. Previous owner left me a Cobb cat back, full Cobb intercooler kit, Cobb rear engine mount, full enclosed Cobb air intake kit, and a ram air kit.
Fiesta sounds better, is more fun, and with some mods can smoke most focuses. Not to mention you can sling the fiesta around like it’s nothing. And more reliable
Imo the fiesta does everything better than the focus aside from stock power obviously, but a stage 2 tune alone fixes that up really quick. You can just flog a fiesta so easily and feel confident
Have had my fost (st1) for the past 6 years and drove a fist at the octane academy (placed 3rd out 20 in the autox btw). Also drove a fist a couple of years later. My focus st1 felt more premium and better as a daily driver. Personally I am happy that I purchased the focus over the fist.
I bought a '14 Fiesta ST new - still have it as I bought & sold way more expensive sports cars in that time. I considered the Focus ST - but most reviewers at that time pointed out that the Fiesta was plain and simply "more fun". Even though I have never driven a Focus - I have never reconsidered my decision. Having said all that... I wasn't planing on sell the ST - Till the GR Corolla was announced. I've had my name on a few lists going on a year now & hoping to get one some time this year.
@@Stattic_Co Ya - from the GR reviews - I'm guessing it will be a much better "C road & unpaved road" Hooning machine than the ST will ever be. The AWD in the 30/70 split will help the ass end slide without having to use a bunch of E-Brake.
I've owned a Focus ST and RS... Honestly enjoyed the FoST more than the RS and wish I didn't sell it. At this point debating between a Fiesta ST or Focus ST again as a 3rd car (and would be my normal daily) next a 2021 Mach 1 HP and 2007 4Runner.

Couldn't agree more, they're a blast to drive, especially once you start modifying them!
I absolutely love that your 74 years young & you have a tuner! 😅

needed the extra space with the FoST. no regrets here, have taken mine through 35+ different states. 2018 100k miles original owner.

How tall are you ? I’m 6’1 and 201 wondering if I could fit in a fiesta 😂
@@AP-wu1rv I’m 5’10 180. The recaros hold me good. You should test drive one. You would probably still be fine.
@@AP-wu1rv you could fit. 201 isn’t big by any means, but recaros may be snug. Go test drive some!

Been rockin my fiesta for 35k miles now. Was never interested in getting the heavier focus. Still wave at my focus st brothers on the street tho 💪

You scored big time, now all you have to do is drive the Hell out of it, that's what they're meant for. Enjoy, The Fiesta Flash.

If Matt Farah of The Smoking Tire expressed a semblance of regret about getting rid of the FiST for a FoRS, then that should be all you need to know.
'Nuff said 😎
Fiesta is for sure the driver's car.
For sure!

The focus st 13-14 never had back up camera, & also those partial leather recaro’s in the Focus are not heated, I have them st2 package also.

That corolla definitely sounds awesome! I was interested in them as well, too pricey for me though, let me know how you like it!

hard choice, dig the fiesta st. as it's closer to our svt's...
Fiesta is lighter and lighter is more fun
They both suffer from the design flow with the groove between the cylinders to improve cooling.
Disagree. Fiesta is the king.
