Okay I am excited to see this series! I've been curious about the game since I saw it so getting a bit of a rules/game overview (review?) at the same time is great.
The game is a lot of fun. Because it's pretty old and out of print it's gotten pretty expensive in the last couple years, which is sad because it was dirt cheap for the longest time. You could get another in the series though and the rules are the same. Temple of Elemental Evil is really good and I just saw it listed for only $45 EDIT (to help manage expectation): I won't be getting into the rules much more during this series but if you'd like to see a deep dive into the D&D Adventure System board games I have an old pre-transition series I did back in 2019 I can re-up or just remake
