- If you're out and about trick-or-treating in any way, be safe and stay alert! Anyway, here's 50/20 on UCN with 32% Power Remaining with no power-ups. Route: Death Coin Funtime Foxy. This was a really nice run -- very happy with this. Maybe I'll run with powerups at some point for a more fun route than this no-powerup one (and higher percentage). I've kept no-powerups as a standard mainly since my Green Runs were based on raw net power usage, so I've done that here. For fun, it'd be cool to try WITH power-ups, but my Green Run totals are based on the percentages used without Frigid and 3 Coins (i.e. Bears Attack, I used the 2% powerup to get the ever-elusive 106% with 4 Mebird +1%s). Mebird in 50/20 is going to be annoying, so that's not on the top of my list right now, lol.

Actually, I simply think that getting the Golden Freddy cutscene (by beating 49/20 after seeing the other cutscenes) was the true ending. Since he thought that 50/20 Mode was impossible, he didn't want the game's ending to be out of that.

Hi DJ Sterf! I’m a huge fan, I just finished 45/20 myself with no power ups after only a week of playing, feeling pretty good? My question is how do you deal with foxy and how long should u keep the GMB on for marionette every hour, thanks and keep up the great work!

Foxy -- try not to keep Foxy on the table for less than 5 seconds and preferably not longer than 10-15 seconds. I check him and Bonnie up front quite a bit in these runs, which often isn't enough, either. Lots of jumps on the last flip w/ Foxy still. Marionette: Just over 50%, surround the :15 multiples with Global Music Box.

You can save around 4-5% if you turn the power gen when you’re getting rid of plush trap and funtime foxy. The way that I do it is hoping that XOR spawns at :11 (if he doesn’t I just reset) then waiting for :26 to switch to power gen and open the camera to get rid of FT Foxy and plush trap. Then between :29-:30 switch back to the GMB for around 4 seconds to compensate using the power gen. By 1am(:45) you should have 90% power left if you did it correctly.
And that’s how I do it I hope this helps you. I’ve trying this strategy recently hope I can get a good run soon :)
Edit: Finally beat it using this strat and got 30%(video on my channel if you want to check it out) Still don't know how Sterf manages to save much power even without using this strat
Edit 2: Finally discovered that using the heater is not necessary thus allowing me to save more power. Trying this died at 4:28.5 with 37% because of Phantom Freddy. Really unfortunate.

VERY impressive, I was awe-struck at this management, but one thing I couldn't help but wonder, could you get away with not closing the right vent door for BB since you dont use the flashlight as much?
Realistically yes as long as it's after death coin. You don't have to flash away Phantom Freddy if you close the top vent right as he scares you (which is showcased multiple times in the video) and a technique call a "0 frame flip" where you open the cams and close them by hovering your mouse over the camera tab twice in quick succession or pressing S to open the cams and immediately hovering your mouse over the camera tab. This technique only effects Foxy and Bonnie and won't make any animatronics kill you. (Nightmare BB included ;]) So yes technically you never have to flash your light unless
you're farming coins at the start of the night or you need to flash Nightmare BB before a ventilation reset. Just make sure to close the right vent on JJ because she can make alot of characters more deadly. So there you go! Hope this gives you some nice info lol

I think I've made this suggestion / challenge before, but have you tried playing the 5th night of multiple Fnaf games at once? I feel like that'd be an insane challenge to do, but could be totally possible considering how well you've pulled off 50/20.
So far the best 50/20 without RSF and without powerups is 40% so 4% can be added from RSF, 2% from Battery, some from Freezing, and Some from +3 coins and a lot from deathcoining the Marionette.
I think 50+ is possible. Using the soundproof option might give more than +4.

dang, I've watched so many of these videos, i don't even get phased by the jump-scares anymore
In my personal opinion, UCN jumpscares are much tamer compared to the rest of the series. Some of the jumpscares are literally a picture of the character shaking. I'm not trying to put you down though, I'm still scared of a lot of the jumpscares in games other than UCN.
@@aero253 I feel the Jumpscares in UCN were more meant as a segway into the game over screen rather than a scary thing, since Scott intended UCN to be a game you played for the sake of playing, not for the sake of getting scared.
I, too, felt like the Jumpscares in this game weren't all that terrifying and ig that's my theory as to why that is

Yep, no prob, 50/20 is a good one to get -- just takes some patience and a lot of consistency (and a decent amount of luck, unfortunately)
Good job! Even though 50/20 needs a decent amount of luck its one of the most consistent. 50/20, SL 10/20, and the two 20/20/20/20s are the most consistent, followed by Nightmare Aggressive.

This run is pretty close, RSF might add another 1.5%, but > 1 appearance and success would be unrealistic as a norm

I want to see him try this again soon but with the puppet death coin strat, people have gotten 72% power left no power ups runs on 50/20, it does take a lot of attempts and luck with Funtime foxy though.

Congrats for 32%. Maybe a lot of people think you can finish with 50% but i think the maxim % to finish 50/20 is 42-43%. Are you going to make fnaf sister location green run with golden freddy very hard and ennard night?
Max is probably able to be 50%+ but the luck you would need would be insane

What if in FNaF 2 10/20 mode, you stayed in the mask for about a second longer after an attack for the left vent characters, only checked the right vent, and when you don't get a attack from (Toy bonnie, Mangle, Withereds, or Toy Freddy) you check the left vent? Would this be more effective than the current way?
Not sure -- maybe depends on how long you wind the music box? You'd have to alter how much you wind the music box and flash frequency if you make modifications to mask length. I've won on multiple versions of FNaF 2's 10/20, but if there's a more efficient way, it'd be interesting to think about.

Its rng for xor to spawn but 8 think he usually spawns at :11 secs
Btw xor spawns the secret animatronics
(1) Nope, but once XOR has spawned in, they spawn in at the same order and timing past XOR showing up. But XOR can show up at :10/11 or even 1:10/1:11 all the same.
(2) Best scenario is when coins show up on the cameras you're on and you can just mouse over those. But BB is most reliable, and after that, Nightmare/NMFB, and after that, Helpy.
(3) Chica won't get mad if Global Music Box is on at 15.0, 30.0, 45.0, 60.0, etc. If GMB is off during those moments/checks, there's a chance Chica will get mad.

Hey dj, I found you when I was looking up this game and your spreadsheet was so unbelievably useful to me a couple months ago when I beat 50/20 mode. I got a new pc and a new steam acc, and am trying to re-beat it. I just beat 48/20 mode(everyone but nightmarionne and funtime foxy, and this is a huge ask but I was wondering if you could watch the video of me beating it? I want to know how I could improve because I always seem to run out of power fast. Any other tips would be great too. I love your stuff my man keep it up!

camera 2 stalls her forever you don't need the sign if you are there fast enough
Sam is correct -- CAM 2 stalls out several animatronics, including Rockstar Chica. Rockstar Chica was there quickly on this run, so another second or two and she probably would have ended the run. One way to combat this is to flip the sign early on in the night...but usually I take a chance if I'm going to be on CAM 2 by the :32 mark or so. e.g. If XOR goes beyond :30 at all, I flip the sign, so I have pretty good wins at :30 and :40 appearances.
