I have always been struck by a quite avant-garde guitar intro (Mick Taylor) to Mayall's 'The Bear' (about Canned Heat's Bob Hite) (1969) - so, possibly ...
@@MalleableSound I'll have to look that one up, I was just thinking about Mayall's contributions to music, and I've always appreciated his ensemble as the origin point of Mick Taylor, that's not much of a compliment, but for me the Mick Taylor period of the Stones is one of the primo areas of popular music.
Well! Can you call a bunch of colors 'slapped' together a painting? The avant-garde in art has been around for over 100 years and many have accepted the idea of exploration and experiment - otherwise things would never change!! What is initially thought shocking and questioned as art is soon enough absorbed into the mainstream. I'm sure your grandparents were confused by MTV when it first appeared - speedily cut videos, computer graphics, harsh electronic sounds, rapid flow television etc. What I would take exception with is the idea that experimental work is 'slapped' together!! I put as much thought and technique into this work as a local songwriter in a band might put to a new song. Plus, I made the video!!! What do you want for nothing????
@@MalleableSound I think all music is essentially held together by passages of silence, its just more evident in aleatory music, much like the afore-mentioned canvas, the tape or vinyl holds these passages together in a linear fashion....
Great electronic sounds generated and the video adds to the atmosphere. The two toge are the piece.👍
Another hit ! Straight to my electroacoustic playlist ….
Many thanks!!
intergalactic circuitous gurgles in 5D!!💥👍
I used headphones. I think my head has been re-wired. However, that's no bad thing.
That was quite a journey. Thank you.
I did issue a health warning with this one!!!!
@MalleableSound I know my rights. And, given the warning, they are forfeit! I went in with my ears wide open.
@@DistanceFromZeroBand And came out half deaf!!!
@@MalleableSound I went in half deaf, 45 years of rock n roll will do that to you. 🤣
Re-wired my brain as well ....
Looks and sounds like a bent oscillator very cool sound tunnel
I've never seen a bent oscillator, but I like the image you conjure up!!!!
I wonder if John Mayall dreamed in aleatory noise waves.......

@@loopbasedzero Judging by what I see on YT, you are not alone in regarding the period 1970-75 as the golden age of The Stones!!!

Hope you didn't touch one of the wires!!!!
