No to backpacks unless you are going hiking. The destroy the look of a jacket and make you look like a schoolboy. Alternatively use a messenger bag or a brief/attach case.
A gentleman should limited jewelry to a nice watch, a wedding ring, cufflink and possibly a tie bar .

That is a really good question, and something that should be addressed.
I have always been a fan of the minimalist wallets. The " George Costanza wallet" looks so bad. I think a nice slim wallet that has a place for cards and cash is perfect.

Regarding men’s cuff: when, wearing with a watch, I assume that means watch on non-dominant hand and cuff on dominant hand? And do the metals need to match?
Falls under the rule match your metals with the exception to that rule the wedding rings and signet/class rings.

Buy a watch made from titanium. It has a density less than steel so for equivalent volumes the titanium watch will weigh less and it has a yield strength greater than steel ie more resistant to scratches.
You'll get used to it in a week

I use a separate money clip for cash, often in a different pocket than the wallet. That keeps everything slimmer.
Be wary of "genuine leather" belts. Source ones made of full-grain or hide cut leather.

My problem is how to wear both a fragrance and a scarf. I don't want my scarf to rub off the cologne, and since I wear different fragrances day to day, I don't want the scarf to become a hodge-podge of random scents.

If you think a phone case adds something to men’s attire or appeal your bar is set pretty low. Does the model and brand of phone matter too? Back packs? Really? When I’m in top hat and tails I always carry a back pack.
