I clearly remember those golden years of Romanian disco music (2008-2012) of Mr. Saxobeat, Akcent, Deepcentral, Inna' s disco hits and of course Morandi. I was a child who starting his teenagehood....really miss that period when with my uncle had listened that songs on the radio/TV or had downloaded music on our old Nokia's and had listened them while travelling in the train. So nostalgic.
remember downloading music via Limewire & then picking up a bunch of viruses as well to screw up your computer? ah, fun old times.

true... i do have similar memories despite the fact i am not Romanian... all these artists you mentioned were famous in Greece as well and their songs were super hits here... but you forgot to mention the best ones Residence deejays and Frissco..

Soy Latinoamericano 🙃 y admito que me hubiera encantado estar en Rumanía cuando el estilo "popcorn" estaba en auge y sus éxitos comerciales se volvieron internacionales. Seguí muy de cerca muchas producciones musicales entre los años 2011 y 2014 de ahí el estilo popcorn empezó poco a poco a cambiar, siento mucha nostalgia por eso pero termino diciendo que mucha gente aún sigue escuchando a Alexandra Stan, Inna entre otros (ellas son las más representativas en el estilo pero no las únicas) y muchos no saben que escuchan música rumana
Un comentariu savant, felicitari, atunci mi se parea un gen de muzica superficial dar e la ani lumina peste ce s-a compus in anii de la 2012 mai departe, n-am stiut sa apreciez la momentele respective, acum ascult cu nostalgie. Clipul de la sexy thing de exemplu pentru 2008 era ultra modern, o bijuterie.
Generația 90! când a aparut melodia asta aveam 18 ani... declaram iubire pe melodia asta și nu numai.
Acum sunt familist, 2 copii, o functie importantă, pur si simplu am remușcări cand ascult melodiile astea!

10 ani frate de cand piesa asta, a schimbat industria muzicala pana in 2014.. cand manelele si muzica comercializata au inceput incet incet sa dea la o parte aceste piese .. va multumim pentru vremurile de altadata, peace ✌

I remember listening to this song and many other Romanian songs when I was playing GTA. Every car I drove had a radio playing different Romanian songs. I was 8 or 9 years old at the time and I forgot, but I remember all the songs. Those were wonderful days.

So i have been loving this song for years but i could not understand the meaning of the video. So yesterday i showed it to my mama. She believes that somebody told the boy that the girl is in love with him, the girl found out and because of her insecurity she thinks and sees unreal situations , mostly fears ( dark night ) . But as she moves the stairs she founds him out in the light ( truth ) and he accepts her, they are being together. I adore my mama's fanatsy and this song as well

Telling my thoughts about this song. When I was little I heard this always on radio. Me, as a 5th grader, I know that the 90s, 2000s songs were the best. They were nostalgic to me. I keep on loving these songs so go ahead and listen to this instead of R&B or Rap.
