Good tip :) You should make some videos about dirtbike maintenance, like how to adjust the carb identify whether its running rich or lean and adjust things accordingly. Or putting the front wheel back in the right way(tightening order). And important things to know when working on your bike. There are too many people asking 'at which ratio do you mix your gas?' And they start running 1:30 no matter which oil they use.. Educate them! :)
On your chain, what is that yellow master link locking clip safety/indication mark made from? Thick paint or something? First time seeing it. Great idea
chain tension looks well tight! the ktm recomended tension is too tight as well ... I set mine so you can touch a link onto bottom of swingarm (OR take out shock, get front sprocket / swingarm bolt and rear axle in line ... this is the tightest / most compressed point you will ever get the bike on a landing ... then adjust to have just a wee bit of play .... then reinstal shock.
I have always used a number 2 screwdriver to do this. Once you get comfortable with it, you can even assess your chain tension adjustment based on how many links are behind the screwdriver once you roll the wheel backwards.
On one side of my bike, the adjustment bolt isn't touching the side of the block however the dashes align perfectly. I'm wondering if someone overtightened the rear axle nut so the tension from that is actually holding the block in place, and not the adjustment bolt
Yeah, I know I am maybe wrong here but I have to ask. I´m thinking about getting a 300 enduro bike. But I also want to hit the MX track sometimes. I know this is not nearly as perfect like it is with an MX-Bike but which brand is the most capable for this? ( Gearing, Suspension etc....) ? An answer would be great :)
Am having an issue with getting the axle torqued to spec, doing it manually and the axle nut wants to round & socket just pops off 2018 Yamaha. Xt250 with a good 6 point socket
Great tip! Another really usefull video would be for wheel dish / offset , its purpose and how to make sure your front and back wheels are aligned, there is 0 info in the service manual for this.
So I put lock tight on my front axle bolt not thinking it would weld it’s self on and now I striped the nut and I can’t get my wheel off any tips to get it off
E.DUNN personal preference. I find they perform poorly in the conditions I ride and I take them off asap (front and rear). There are types of terrain and conditions where it really doesn't matter what tire or air pressure you ride, but for the stuff I like it matters more and the AT81 doesn't do a good job
Very cool. If Honda would make a CRF250RX, I'd buy it right now. Sadly they haven't. The Honda CRF450RX is likely going to be the next 450 that I test out. Not sure if that will be this summer or not.
Trevin Jacobson so many people don't realize that this video was uploaded to RUclips days ago, and that RUclips will upload them at an exact time set by the user
Youre also supposed to tighten the nut from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock. Not 6 to 12. That pulls the wheel towards the adjuster when you start at 12 o'clock. Cool tip though.

He already has multiple different videos explaining most of the things you just asked for. Especially when it comes to mixing gas.
great tip thanx for sharing lot of riders need to know this, 30 years I've known this thanx for your contributions to the moto guys
Kyle goes through bikes so quickly, he never has to clean the air filters.
My axle isnt drilled and id like it to be because it is really lose. If I go any tighter it doesn't allow the wheel to be free. Any tips?
I always put a wrench on one of the sprocket teeths
NTKLife my dog is always willing to put his paw in my sprocket for me. Real loyalty there.
I sometimes use my fingers...
NTKLife haha I love your videos🔥🇸🇪✌️
Oh wow I can’t believe that my RUclips actually gave me the notification right as the vid got released... also this vid will help me a lot, thanks...
i just push and hold the wheel with my knee when am tightening the axle. But still good tip.ty.

How do you like that KTM mat? Thinking about getting one only a few reviews on that one
Your video helped me out thank you

Awesome tip. Do more of these

I run a bungee cord through my back tire to my foot pegs, this looks much easier thank you
What are the advantages of having an inverted nut in the axle instead of a normal one ? I'm coming from a normal roadbike background
On one side of my bike, the adjustment bolt isn't touching the side of the block however the dashes align perfectly. I'm wondering if someone overtightened the rear axle nut so the tension from that is actually holding the block in place, and not the adjustment bolt
Great tip straight and to the point, thanks!
I’ve seen sport bike guys use a screw driver the same way. Cool vid dude.

I've been using a 3/8 extension. It frees up both hands.

Wow Kyle bro omg ive been raging at this for hours once. Thank you
Great video❤
Cool tip ....so gonna do that next time
Great Tip... Thanks, brother...
What size bolt does the rear wheel use?
Very useful information
Awesome idea! Thanks for sharing :)
You went through the tubliss install without changing the AT81?!

Awesome!
Hey Kyle, just bought a 2017 Honda CRF450RX 👍
John Connor haha, ya seems that way
enjoy that machine dude!!

Dirt Bike Channel the guys over at traction Erag didn’t have much good to say about it

How. tight do you tighten your back wheel axle nut anybody out there no help would be appreciated thank you
I Like it

Don''t loosen nut that much? Ive never had that kind of easy problem... Just gentle push on the wheel and it pushes the blocks against the bolts..
You don't own a 250 EXC already?
So simple no more need for a third hand.
I wish I had the cash to buy a dirtbike, but I can learn about them so whatever.
I thought everyone did that
