Last week I gave my friend $800 to keep him off the streets. I have a place where I keep my income tax returns. I make enough money to keep me off the streets. When I was young and had no money a person who barely knew me kept me off the street and free from hunger for a month until I got my first paycheck.

Foster caring was a huge wake up call for me. It wasn’t until my 50s that I realised that many children do not get the secure, consistent and secure childhood they so deserve 🙏 oh, it’s heartbreaking 💔
Owen was the best audition on this video. All 3 judges acknowledged his talent and got in their feelings because he said was going to pretend they were not there. The judges are the ones that should have been sent home
Owen was the best Audition and the judge are the ones that should have been sent home she is unhappy to sad to sent home give a semi-final to winning a goosebumps stunned has give a people
the owen campbell guy didnt suck up to the judges, he was performing for the audience. He wasnt cocky or arrogant at all. He just didnt make it about impressing the judges by sucking up to them and placating.
Do y'all remember that school teacher on Britain's Got Talent that wowed the judges and in the later auditions got an attitude? Well, attitude is an important part of the performance. He weeded himself out because Owen had a chip on his shoulder. Hopefully, he learned a super valuable lesson. Still, I would have passed him to give him the chance to get his head on strait...but he would be a risk.
Yes, Owen did great i think he is just a performer and they make comments to interact with their crowds it is not to insult the judges, they were in the wrong that guy had real talent.
Owen cam: I honestly think he meant " let's forget I'm being judged and just have fun"...not forget about the judges completely. It came out wrong and then a bunch of tone assumptions were made between them all. Judges thought they were being disrespected, and Owen thought he was being attacked. Not the best approach, but when he came out talking to them first, he was getting control of his nerves. My two cents even though it was not well recieved.
EXACTLY! SPOT ON. That's what I thought too. It was a self-calming comment and that younger male judge felt his huge dumb ego hurt. Poor baby, boo-hoo. These morons robbed this very talented guy of a a chance because their massive ego's felt bruised because they were too stupid to understand what most people immediately understood.
Sorry but his whole attitude was absolutely awful, talking over judges and each time he opened mouth just cocky and arrogant. I would say no as well no matter how talented he was. he had 0 respect. Try to listen his audition again, each time he speaks.
21:41 him being cocky is probably an defence mechanism to anyone who has told him “no,” “you can’t,” “you’re useless.” Etc. he probably has more positive experiences when he is on the streets everyday with ordinary people, rather than people who happen to be celebrities. I have found in my experience that some of the nicest people are the ones who have suffered the most, and the most difficult and awful are the ones who have it all. (I understand this is not all of the time as the human race is flawed, but in my opinion this is what it has been.) and also, as an Australian, this is how we talk. Also there is a condition we have called Tall Poppy Syndrome… Also, as an autistic person, this is my backup defence mechanism of coming off prickly to people to cope with stress and when performing.
Boy, I guess I read Owen wrong, my first thought was he said that about the judges because of nervousness and wanting to pretend he was not in front of them to keep it at bay, but no matter his reasons, for them to take offense instead of asking why he said that and not let him through because their tender feelings got triggered is sad, 😕
I'm inclined to agree, that it was nerves and his attempt, however awkward, to boost his self-confidence and it was poorly interpreted by the the judges. Instead of admonishing him they should have given him some understanding and guidance.
21:08 He didn't audition for his attitude or cockiness he auditioned because he can sing so get out of your feelings and judge him singing.... I didn't think he was cocky I just thought he was talking as he would to anybody else.... and I don't think he was actually calling him balls as in like he's the boss Asian boss like other people do when they talk to somebody but I think that judges was just butthurt
YES!! They were all caught up in their girlie emotions. When you have thousands screaming to send him through they obviously didn't see anything wrong with his performance, and those judges are the ones that should have got a clue. I hope they get fired for that crap and I hope he finds his way to the USA because I know they will put him through
Mate im from straya. Owen was cocky and had a crap attitude. Maybe it was just his personality but you need to act appropriately. And the worst part is he was so clueless about it. How dumb can you be
I'm going to be 55 this month. I have watched a lot of talent shows in my life. The group of kids together where the one was beatboxing...I rewound that and watched it again and I haven't done that too many times in my life. They were absolutely amazing. Love them!
No one has to go hungry,we can all help each other to complete a full circle.we cannot carry on like this,we need a change of heart.go out into the world and let us fullfil our purpose

The way Red Foo reacted to Dean's performance, was the most hilarious moments in my auditions viewing history I think 😂😂 watch Din Richard's performance on X factor
Really bizarre in this day and age for someone judging talent to worry about the attitude of an artist. The industry is full of egos and attitudes. They think they're in the business of teaching people lessons? Some of the biggest stars are jerks, but people pay millions to see them, oh and the agents and venues make billions. this isn't the pre 1970, stay in your lane judges. The public will take care of a star's attitude.
@@lancevoorheestapestrichann9740 THIS!!! No matter what the music industry is like, a first impression like that will NEVER get you somewhere in life (even outside of music). I really think the judges totally misjudged Owen. He was just saying he was going to connect with, & perform to, the audience & forget the judges were there. Their fragile egos were miffed. Ridiculous & I don’t blame Owen for being disgusted. I sure was.

There are many young homeless people. I live in California and the expenses here are outrages... the cost of living causes depression and feelings of no self worth. Often our youth self medicate with alcohol. Parents can't always help because they are struggling too. Hopefully this election will bring some relief to the cost of living and there will be more jobs out there. Part time for 20 a hour doesn't pay the rent.
It's sad when there are people like these judges who think they can keep someone down because they have power.l I wonder if someone did not help them so they could be sitting in that chair. That was VERY mean of them and they should understand he was trying to calm himself. You should not be a judge of TALENT if you''re that touchy. Why did the woman ask him WHY he was that talented and haven't made it yet then screw him with a NO. Downright disgusting!! I pray he hold his head up and makes it big then he can tell them 3 what to do with their Yes. I'm so mad!!
