Specifically simmers who make black/afro textured hair. Coming as a black person, when I first got sims as lil 12-year-old I was so upset and disappointed about how much black hair was in the base game. I learned of sims from like, Dan and Phil, so I ain't knew nothing about mods and me and my little cousin hated that they didn't look like us. Discovering mods/cc was the most amazing thing for me. The first things I remember downloading is a bunch of hair!! Listen, I had hair, I had bonnets, I had durags- I was so shook that I could /actually/ have sims that didn't look like shit in my game, or only have to play with the ONE afro choice they gave us. My specific favorite hair item rn is def "Marosims kabibe hair". I been using that on a shit ton of sims. It's such a cute lil teen hair. I also really love the skin overlays, love when my sims have a smoother, less cartoony texture. And I was obsessed with custom skin tones before too lmao, ea messed us up with that initially too. I was mostly buulding but now I started to enjoy making CAS and I love CC shopping and seeing all the beautiful details that people make for the game.
