Excellent groupe, vraiment une version très entraînante.
I live in Newfoundland, eastern Canada.I had the pleasure to see this band live in my home town when they toured here last year.Brilliant how they keep the traditional sound alive.Spoke with a few of the band members after the show and hope you guys come back.Saw on the news about the fiddle theft when you's were here.On behalf of the Newfies that love yer music,we are truly sorry that some low life did that.Rock on!!
YOUr the Newfoundland the greatest

my favourite tune right now!! full of power!!!
'Fusion music' is sometimes a dirty phrase but this band show just what can be achieved by blending tradition and modernity. Perfect.
Okay this is 6 years later but really I think Rap Music came from these ditties. Be it Irish or Scottish this is Newfoundland sound.😊
I honestly can’t get enough of this! Amazing.

Great stuff! Is that the same (it must be) Dylan Bible that used to play regularly in The Seahorse in Tramore with his sister on keyboard every Thursday?! Many happy memories...that I can remember...
I think we're missing a first verse, about how he roved out before he met the pretty maid, unless I'm mistaken...
Just hilarious 🎩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Naw I think that's how that's ment to be sung 👍😎amazing
Go hiontach ar fad.....Meascán truaillithe de rac-cheol agus de cheol Gaelach atá ann

This is not "As I roved out" It's "Raggle taggle gypsy". Nevertheless, besides mixing up titles, it's quite enjoyable.
No, it is most definitely not the raggle taggle gypsy. It's a completely different song.
Surprised I can't find any evidence of this band having recorded album/s or gigs.. Crying shame.
tomtheeagle1 recording albums at the moment.

@@newfoundlandband633 Andy Irvine. ..planxty 😊
@@newfoundlandband633 You refer to some Italian for the origins of the song. But this is the real origins: ruclips.net/video/JyP407UnUWw/видео.html
Wrong. They're two different songs. Christy Moore sings both. Have you been at the sherry?
