Using Power Automate to Send a Custom Email

Watch this video to learn some tips for sending a custom email using Power Automate in Microsoft 365. We will start with a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that has the email as well as the criteria field for sending an email. From there, we will show how to manually connect to the Excel spreadsheet from Power Automate and then apply a condition to determine whether or not a custom email should be sent. We will then create the custom email using the name and email address from Excel as well as attach an attachment. So if you would like to see an example of a flow in Power Automate that creates and sends a custom email from Excel, this is a great video to watch.

Thanks for the question. If your RSVPs are in Excel, you should be able to skip the section at 5:49 and then resume around 7:30 with adding an email as your next step. Don't worry about the condition since you don't need it. Hope that helps!

How would I do this if I wanted to send out a report card for each individual? Like a different attachment for each email

Thanks for the question. You could cycle through a list of emails in Excel and also have the attachment file name in the same spreadsheet and use that file name when creating the flow.
