Just got back into mystery dungeon after beating DX awhile back. This series never loses its charm. Awesome run! Never even considered starting skitty for double slap. Hope we can see you again at another event!
as one of the most passionate, avid, and fervent fans and lovers of pokemon mystery dungeon ever, the first part of this speedrun attempt absolutely destroyed me😂 and i literally get skitty when i don't want skitty THAT SAID amazing job, i could NOT have done much better in my 17 years+ of repeating red rescue team! (i prefer rrt, i'm not sure why lol)
It really was. Normally you can get the quiz pretty consistently within 2-3 tries, so we agreed with tech to not start after the quiz (I only have 1 copy of the game so that was the alternative). Than when the run came around I got really unlucky for it to take this long. Made me wish I had started after the quiz...
You can get more chestnuts than 2 and not have to go through another 1-2 missions after. Did it when I was 12, did at 24. Just a few months ago actually

WM is Wondermail. Effectively you can code in a mission to get you any reward you might want. QS is quicksave. When done right before the stairs you can RNG manipulate what the stairs are going to be on every floor after for the rest of the dungeon. Makes the randomness very... not random
Skitty got Tail Whip for defense drop tackle stab and doubleslap which is a multihitmove which are completly broken in this game and also attract to make bosses do nothing
