Hmmmmm confidence! Yeah I bet we all are working on that. Surfing with someone seems to help a lot. I usually go alone so try to work on one specific skill at a time. It's interesting that we do seem to plateau then somehow it all comes together & we move up to the next plateau. We had been staying inside riding white water or some small inside "sneakers" at Doheny where my daughter's comfort was (after a knee injury or? made her more cautious). 2 weeks ago we went to San Onofre doing the same thing but when I looked around she was paddling toward a wave, spun around and took off. The time was just right I guess. Amazing how it all works & part of why I love it so much! Thanks so much for sharing! BTW overcast, some rain & a little thunder right now but the water temp is approaching middle 70's(F). Board shorts (swim suits) and rash guard weather!
