Really WELL designed except for the cushioning of the rear seat . This is the neatest storage , water management and electrification I have seen . The best part is it keeps the vehicle street legal .

I have a Maruti eeco van modified into a camper with bed and a kitchen with auto gas lpg ambience lights dash cam footrests overhead carrier audio system with reverse camera GPS radio pendrive connection mobile chargers and two fans. It also has Airconditioner. My wife my doggy and myself we drove from Coimbatore to leh ladakh Pangong Tsu Lake Leh Kargil Dras Zogila Khardungla Pass zojila pass Changla pass and back to coimbatore. The trip was for a month and 10 days. Distance covered 10000 kms. It was a wonderful and wholesome experience. The total cost of the journey was Rs 92000

Sam bhai koi bhi vehicle lo but wo 4*4 hi lena uske bina apko comfortable nahi lagega wo hi best rahega har season ke liye
I have been thinking of a good vehicle for making a new camper van. So far i have zeroed down on 2 vehicles.
If 4*2 works then Tata 407 is a very powerful vehicle not so big also and has lots of space its driving is also little simpler than other truck like vehicles. Has loads of spaces for modifications. It is well sold model so can be maintained easily, cheaply and at all places.
If 4*4 is the requirement then Tata Xenon pickup is a good option. It also is a powerful vehicle and is well used in high altitudes and has good width of 6 feet for building a camper van with all its loads. I think this will be able to go all places that one wants to for camping. Has good ground clearance, is ladder on frame . Can be driven like an SUV. A good modification of tyres can take to ladakh or north east.
These are cheaper indian options as compared to Isuzu dmax or Toyota Hilux and offers more space.
Options are cheaper but on service front ,part availability it's poor. He have to do commercial registration if he buy those vehicles.

@@moolraj5520 tata 407 is an age old vehicle and can be serviced easily across india at much cheaper price than an isuzu, which has much fewer service stations and lots of imported components. Also some states allow it to have white plate registration.
Tata xenon or Yodha can easily be registered in white plate and again its per km running cost as well as maintenance is lower than private diesel cars.
If Tata is not liked then Mahindra pickup also has 4*4 options , the only negative is its width is less than 6 feet.
If we wanna build a camper van then the dead weight if the vehicle is massively increased with the interior modifications and the use of ply wood, water tank etc.
cars are not built to carry so much weight, specially indian options.
Only leaf spring can carry that much dead weight and perform nicely for long run. Yodha has a 2.5 tonne carrying capacity. It all depends how many appliances and mods are being planned.
If the plan is to carry items and camp outside the vehicle or roof tenting then isuzu also makes sense. But there is a trade off with the comfort

Isuzu is very expensive and you will modify it to caravan that cost so according to me Tata Yodha Cab/ Mahindra Bolero Camper is the ideal choice rest all your decision bro good luck !!

Sam don't buy Isuzu go with tata Ace 50 ac make a room of 6 by 10 feet on back side and make a proper Caravan with glass roof where u can sit a complete home which can go any where with toilet

I own Eeco 5 Seater AC 2015 model. Still I am not selling. My Eeco gives comfort of Innova Crysta on long journeys. No modifications done except side foot rest.

Selling this car is your personal opinion but the level of modification that you did is awesome . So I recommend not to sell this ultimat van in future you may buy the Rolls Royce and use it as a camper van but you will definitely miss this beast...
