I have the a6g, got it 2 weeks ago, it's a little different from this, I have the UK model so it runs on VIDDA not Google, everything looks beautiful, love It, I set it up with a subwoofer for enhanced audio and no complaints, 10/10
Steve, please do a A6G (VA) vs A6G (IPS) comparison, in order to see the effect of a panel on the visuals. 🙏 Interesting comparison. U6G definitely worth extra $$$, but A6G will still net you a decent experience while saving your some cash.
I have a 55 inch A6 in ny bedroom just puchased a 75 inch U6 for the living room and its way better than the A6 colors are more deeper picture quality is awesome spend the extra money and get the Hisense U6 series Quantum LED im happy with mine 😊
I have the U6G (50 inch) Bought it almost 2 months ago and I love it. Bought it simply because it was a much cheaper & good alternative to a LG oled (the plan is to wait a couple of years for oled prices to go down ) Generally speaking has an awesome picture (only with a few tweaks got it to my liking ) .Surprised by the sound : has very good & loud speakers .However two things I don't like : 1 - Very limited aspect ratio settings (the best aspect ratio settings are in Samsung & LG tv's ) 2-Bluetooth does not pair properly or loses conections (tried with 3 audio devices ). But honestly I don't care about the bluetooth problems because I use the TV speakers most of the time or a soundbar connected with an optical cable (not sure if the bluetooth problems are only with my tv or all Hisense U6 tv's ) Nice video and keep the good work !
I have the U6G and I am using RUclips TV streaming service. Netflicks and Prime picture quality is great while live tv via RUclips picture was terrible. Inserted fire stick 4K max and RUclips tv live is great now. The on-board RUclips tv app appears to be the issue.

@@enriquelizarraga430 go for the custom picture mode if you want the most accurate and "creator intended" picture with close industry whitepoint reference quality. Standart is off and inaccurate with colour errors and wrong temperature. Once you go natural mode and watch for a week or two, you"ll never want to go back.

i actually had both these tvs and returned them both, they werent that much better than my hisense h610g 65in that i bought on black friday for $250 dlls. the u6g is better than the a6g but that blooming bothered me alot.
Hey Steve, I bought a Hisense 58R6E3 Roku TV which came with a remote without a numbers pad on it, which I really want. I bought a remote on Amazon which said it was compatible with all Hisense TVs, but once I got it home, the numbers pad wouldn't change the channels. I reached out to Hisense chat and they informed me that this model can't be controlled with a numbers pad on any remote. I find this hard to believe and is why I'm reaching out to you. Thank you.

Loved the U6G while I had it but the display on mine was defective so I returned it. But luckily I found a cheap Sony X85J but I was planing on a U7G till I saw the sony x85j going for 499$ but I wonder how things would have went if I got a U7G.
Here's my question; The A series version you have is an IPS panel and the U series is a VA panel. So the brightness and contrast being better on the U series, could that just be due to the panel? What if you compared both 50" versions? which are both VA panels. Would the brightness be the same?
@@TechSteve i have not used Roku that much. Just got Netflix since couple weeks and like it. What I can't find i stream to my tv using PS4 and windows laptop with universal media streamer. I do need to debug that some more. It keeps losing the stream now and then when I pauze a video and randomly loses connection. I think I will be quite happy going from a Samsung smart led 32in to this u6g 50 The samsung app was so terrible slow

I still haven't went deep into the calibration settings. Only turned 20 point on. Idk what to adjust what to really. My only complaint about it is if I run netflix natively(app in the tv), dolby vision never kicks in. Will work fine on apple app though. I got so use to dolby vision on it, feels off watching without it. I'm guessing android tv doesn't support it on netflix. Works fine when running it on my xsx. I'm trying to only use my xsx for gaming anymore though. Been thinking about getting a raspberry pi4 model b 8gb instead of a roku or android tv box. Was going to get one of those at first but seems like the pi is worth paying a little more for what i'd like to do.

I’m pretty sure he knows that they are in standard, most likely for testing out of the box quality. (what most people use without calibration)
