    Can one thin the BSI Epoxy to use in an air brush? And if so what would it take to clean the Brush?

    Ugly Dog just started painting baits I've only done 4 to me they look great my question tho I cleared them with Rust-Oleum 2x clear gloss I seen your video and ordered me the BSI epoxy 30 minute can I put it directly over the Rust-Oleum that I've already put on lures...or do I leave them be and hope for the best

    I've been using the BSI now for awhile. I've had a bunch of fisheye problems, never touching the paint job. Turns out great when it goes good but hard to repair the aftermath.

    What brush do you use to apply epoxy? I have trouble with disposable brushes shedding bristles into the epoxy.

    • @UglyDogLures
      @UglyDogLures  3 года назад

      Yes I use painters tape and acid brushes and still have to watch for stray hairs been looking for a better brush my self

      Apply some CA glue on the handle side of the brush handle with the bristles up.

    Could you please zoom in on the bait while you are working, my old eyes can't see the results while your doing it, also, I thought you had to use a Turner, when doing epoxy ?, I been using KBS, and dipping, like the look, but I know it's not as strong as epoxy, since you aren't using a Turner, I'm gonna try the BSI, where do u get it ?

    • @UglyDogLures
      @UglyDogLures  3 года назад

      I will get a closer view and no I don't use a turner I use drip hooks just make sure you go over the bait several times with the brush to make sure its covered well

  • @SuperBigdaddy1234

    • @UglyDogLures
      @UglyDogLures  2 года назад +1

      It is actually 4500 psi stronger than kbs its 14 dollars for the two bottles and you can do 50 to 60 baits with the set

    • @UglyDogLures

      Depends on bait size 1cc epoxy 1 cc hardener will do most baits the smaller the bait the less you will mix or the larger the bait a bit more 1.5 to 2 ccs of each
