Dude thank you so much for the support, the channel plug, and the wild experiment! Not what I thought i would see next, but definitely worth while to note that this can be done..🤯 at least now people can be aware as far as single boxes are concerned. Might be interesting to see the differences in weight between packs too.. i know ive seen those being sold loose on ebay too, so it makes me wonder!🤷🏽♀️

This has been done for years this is why I never buy packs or even blasters or hanger packs. I’ll do mega and hobby boxes. Some mega boxes can be weighed for larger hits depends on which one you get such as prizm donruss optic.
I'm a Newbie to it all hahaha. That sucks that it has been going on for long time. I know Panini had cardboard fillers in packs, I guess to mask the thick packs. I really like Blasters but now I'm a little weary.
@@RecardedPulls don’t ever buy packs either on eBay Amazon not even target or Walmart online these days. They pull inventory from the shelves and ship. Packs can be weighed and searched. If the packaging is white it’s a wrap. No pun intended.

@@chinering23 I want to try the Chrome series 6 when it gets cheaper. I bought a case once, but I didn't think of weighing it then. I want to GPK and a UFC Blaster Case one day.
If u buy 3 or more box’s weight them to see if there a huge difference open the lightest then thr heavy one
@@andabracken4867 Maybe for the older boxes. I think they add in cardboard to offset the weight. Nowadays, they CT scanning for good cards hahahaha. Crazy world.

This is why I never buy single packs of Pokemon or the history cards I get. Those come in boxes so weighing them doesn't apply as it states on the box that you get 3 relics. Those Bob Ross are nice looking and there is a baseball card version of it as well.
Yeah, I talked to some Card shops (because I'm a newbie) and they said Hobby boxes are harder to weigh, but some Blasters you can weigh. I guess the smaller boxes.
Weighing can definitely reveal some secrets in the boxes. Alot of people found Kaboom cards by weighing packs/boxes. Sometimes it's a super noticeable difference and sometimes it's .01 difference. I can never trust buying packs or boxes from individual resellers because of this. I doubt the big online stores weigh or they'd be liable of some serious fraud if caught. I didn't even know Bob Ross cards were a thing lol

Weighing packs has been going on since the 1990s when there were only relics in sports packs. My friend and I would go around to stores and he would literally sit on the floor with a scale AND a micrometer to check the thickness of packs, I remember the day he pulled the 1999 Upper Deck Babe Ruth Bat card. That seems like a lifetime ago. The entire hobby has changed....and not for the better. Since Ebay came along cards are pretty much worthless but Pokemon seems to be taking over. Thanks for letting mw rant.
The last time I collected was back in 1996 for NBA, NFL and MLB. I know the card shops used to shuffle the packs around when they open a new box, but I never knew they weighed it.
I am never buying RETAIL again. Never !!!!!! I will only buy single cards that I think are reasonably priced. End of Story !!!

Hahaha, you said "honest trading card community!" That shit is non-existent buddy, ever since cards can back around, all these breakers/sellers are in it for the money and only money. Best way to avoid getting fucked over is buying directly from the company and not from individual sellers. Especially when boxes have been opened..
@@ghoostxcal158 I agree with %100. It's them greedy people that makes collecting Shitty. The same for these Cardsmiths cards, I only advise to buy from me (and if not me), Gamestop or directly from Cardsmiths website. I don't know any fully trusted sites or shops for any others products. We have to ignore the greedy sellers and just support our own trusted. The people make the prices, the greedy ones jacking up prices. If we ignore their expensive prices, they will drop. Supply and demand. We the people, have the power for anything. We just have change.
Dude, you gotta turn down the audio when you're opening the cards, or not have the mic right on top of the packs as you're opening them. I had to stop the video because it was annoying as hell.
