Some deep insights here. I've learnt helpful things about my moon (Jyesthta) and lagna (Hasta) - the jiva and mineral explanation was exactly spot on. But which deity is more important to honour - your moon or lagna nakshatra?
Moon should take prominence in this, but also look at the Lagna. The same concepts can be applied to planets as dispositors and Karakas. Plus the sutras from Taittiriya Brahmana make great remedies.
