Klaus will act like he betrayed his family to trap daliah and make her believe that he is on her side, to by some time for his daughter. And after he ambushed daliah Esther and the rest of the family steps in and esther takes the weapon that can kill daliah and then they start talking and then she stabs her with the weapon and daliah and Esther freezed and died together as sister's. But i assume you know all that already

JK Rowling was there to make sure everything was done justice for the legacy of the books. Plec I don't trust. Kevin Williamson I trusted. Not to mention knowing the universe and the rules to a show that centres around being/following the "legacy" of what came before, should mean having a basic knowledge of what came before. I'm not saying they need to binge all 8 seasons, but these questions were basic to the storylines of the first few seasons and the way the tvd universe works
@@elizabethjulia20 Much of the Hunger Games cast didn't read the books, same with Divergent. Heck, many people who portray the lead in biofilms never even read the autobiography. If the script is written well, they'll know all they need to from there. Plus, it makes sense for Legacies, as none of these characters are supposed to know who any of the originals were. Hope is still known as a Marshall. Actually, a lot of TVD cast didn't know much about specific details like these, only what pertained to their story line. It's a normal occurrence in film, good or not.

But as a fan it makes me sad and unmotivated to watch this show because I don't see how they can do it justice without understanding the legacy that they're continuing. Unlike all of the adaptations you listed, they aren't starting the first onscreen adaptation like with: Divergent, Hunger Games, Harry potter, or even TVD. They're continuing something that was already onscreen. I guess I just think it's too soon to create a next generation spinoff when the previous generation ended only a year ago. The fact that they also don't know what they're creating a legacy of just adds salt in the wound. If I'd watched this and realised they were also fans who wanted this spinoff to do its original justice I might have had hope for the show.

It should be a requirement if you're going to be in a spinoff that you have to watch the previous shows it was based on so you don't look like poser trying to play a character that you know nothing about.

@@blessing7715 The whole show is new. And it's cut in a way that knowledge of TVD is not necessary to enjoy or understand it. So, knowledge about TVD also isn't necessary for the actors to have. Matt Davies is the exception here, but everyone else should be fine knowing only the basic stuff. I can see that being disappointing to fans, and I'm almost certain they'll brush up on in-universe knowledge eventually, but it's extra-curricular and not a necessity.

they wouldn't have to merge i'd assume but A) they'd have to deal with being vampires which kinda sucks (pardon the pun) and B) they might end up losing their powers bc if the twins of the gemini coven don't merge then the whole coven dies and loses their powers (a fact covered in the original show The Vampire Diaries)
They should both be fed vampire blood and when one dies, they will become a heretic. That way, the merge happens and the other twin is still alive.

That's what I was thinking the whole time they was talking about it I was like wouldn't you have to wear a ring lol 😂 😂
But she is not an activated vampire, the only vampire part of Hope is her blood. Hope is immune to the sun not because she is a tribrid; because she hasn't triggered her vampirism (died) yet. She's still alive, not undead. If she did trigger her vampirism, she will be still immune to the sun, but now because of being a tribrid.
But her mom Hayley died when she took her ring off and went outside so..
