  • Every MIND-BLOWING Tornado Type Explained In 23 Minutes.
Most people picture a tornado as a simple spinning funnel.
But what if I told you some tornadoes split into multiple vortices… some hide inside walls of rain… some walk across the ground like shadowy figures… and others are so wide they look like entire storms touching the earth?
In this video, we break down every major tornado shape and variation ever documented - explaining how they form, what they signal about storm intensity, and why appearance alone can completely change how dangerous a tornado becomes.
From classic structures to rare atmospheric anomalies, we cover:
    • Multi-Vortex tornadoes - violent circulations hiding multiple smaller funnels inside
    • Twin tornadoes - two rotating funnels forming from the same storm
    • Rain-Wrapped and Night tornadoes - nearly invisible until debris starts flying
    • Satellite tornadoes - smaller funnels orbiting a dominant circulation
    • Anticyclonic tornadoes - rare storms spinning in the opposite direction
    • Mountain and High-Altitude tornadoes - forming in unusual terrain conditions
    • Wedge tornadoes - massive walls of rotating destruction
    • Invisible tornadoes - detected only when it’s almost too late
    • Waterspouts - rotating columns forming over open water
    • Dead Man Walking tornadoes - multi-vortex formations creating haunting silhouettes
    • Fire tornadoes and Volcanic vortices - driven by extreme heat and instability
    • Snow tornadoes - rare cold-weather anomalies
    • Needle tornadoes - thin funnels that still produce intense winds
    • Rope tornadoes - twisting, narrowing vortices that often remain dangerous
    • Elephant Trunk tornadoes - curved funnels signaling rapid storm evolution
    • Cone tornadoes - the classic strengthening structure
    • Hourglass tornadoes - rare, pinched funnels that can rapidly transform
    • Stovepipe tornadoes - tall, uniform columns linked to sustained severe damage
We also examine real tornado events to show how these shapes reveal what a storm is about to do next - whether it’s intensifying, cycling, splitting, or hiding its true strength.
    This isn’t just about visuals.
It’s about storm behavior, atmospheric structure, and why recognizing tornado variations can mean the difference between underestimating a threat and understanding what’s coming.
If you’re fascinated by severe weather, storm chasing, meteorology, and the most extreme forces on Earth, this breakdown will completely change how you see tornadoes in the sky.

9:41 I see this every now and then, visible by the fallen fall leaves. I usually see them where leaves collect near walls outside. I have been inside one or two before. It's just a brief gust of wind. They are usually about the radius of a human if you drew a circle around one. I've seen some that last 3 seconds and some that last maybe 6.

As a builder I have never once seen anything actually well built. The vast majority skip all wind codes and are slap and go jobs done all poorly as poorly gets while being labeled " well built". (It happens because actual well built cost time which is money and big builders pay off city government employees and higher ups all the time). Everything is a scam now. Never buy a new home from a builder. Get someone to build it. Otherwise you will just get 10 Mexicans that build it in 2 days, not one thing will actually pass code or be properly built and everything will be garbage.

One more thing, I doubt the Communists will ever let you see my comments but another thing is that, even in a brick house that's quick stack brick with no metal, when a car smashes the wall at 200mph nothing really can hold up. But most brick jobs are like this and most "well built" homes are not actually built well at all.

With storm season here, it's a good idea to have a weather radio in the house, car or your cell with a NOAA weather app. On nights when there is severe weather expected, make sure you have at least two weather apps on your phone and a separate notification sound for each, and keep your cell plugged in on your nightstand with the volume up as far as it will go. Idea (to be improved and tested) of a device to attract tornadoes in places where they won't cause damage.
To protect ourselves from lightning, we have created lightning rods. And to protect ourselves from tornadoes, we can create a device to attract them to places where they won't cause damage. And what would such a device look like?
Very simple: a cylinder of concrete or steel about a hundred meters high, with a propeller inside to accelerate the warmer air from bottom to top, receiving the warmer air from a base with holes and surrounded by a fairly resistant wall, thus avoiding damages at the ground level, when the warmer air rises with great force during the storm, in the situation of a tornado channeled by the device.
The propeller could be activated automatically, depending on the weather conditions typical of tornadoes.

To a snow tornado after 20minets and then it died down but still the most destructive tornado ever spotted in Alaska and the only tornado that was ever recorded in the area.

10:17 This assumption is incorrect, Doppler radars do detect moisture. Doppler radar needs moisture to detect wind speed. Doppler radar doesn't detect wind speed directly, but rather the speed of the water droplets that the wind is carrying. So yes, it needs moisture, especially since a radar works by emitting electromagnetic waves, and it needs the wave to hit something and reflect back to the radar to be able to detect it. If it were just air, it wouldn't detect anything.
