I spent 1,5 years playing for this class, and I have seen plenty of cleric PvP videos. This one still is unmatched and probably will remain that. Just had to say this :S
For those probably wondering... if anyone at all stares at Aionsource; a while back, Kohlos posted that he was done with Aion ever since NCsoft changed the zone 3 rule in the NA/EU. Anyways, great vid dude -- made me try out the dps line fully for a while but lacked the proper MB set/Godstone to appreciate it so I've been sticking with Benevolence for a good while. --Zero
No need to argue, guys. It is quite simple; mace and shield is a good combo for defensive setups, while staff is ideal for offensive builds. I've put it very simply; there certainly are more variations and everything, both types of weaponry are there for a reason.
In general, it was a very interesting fight to watch. Both 1% gs proc AND stumble with a staff (on templar!) - that's not something you would see every day ^_^
@Al3xandros1234 Don't forget that you can fuse a staff with abyss staff to receive around 10% PvP att depending on your secondary staff. You will not receive such PvP stats with mace and shield, so this is quite a bonus for dps-oriented players. Also, you get 10% extra mb from your secondary weapon. Either way, I could write a whole wall of text about this, but this is not a discussion board, so I sugesst that we keep it this way.
@GrandpaRanOverRudolf For extra magic boost and pvp damage (weapon fusion) and magic accuracy (staffs have higher base MA than maces). It's stacked with MA/HP stones too, because cleric MA starts to suck against anything over 1500MR.
I love my cleric but it takes so freaking long to level. I am 33 now but I leveled my glad to 33 almost 3 times as fast as it took to get my cleric to that level.
