This is by far the best and most dangerous ankle lock I’ve ever been put in. I highly suggest working it into your bjj. Jorge’s ankle lock pressure is the most scary thing I’ve ever felt on my feet and legs. Also Jorge is a true showmen and gentleman for sacrificing his own health and well being after being shit on by Couch halfway through the technique. A true entertainer who’s dedicated and willing to lay his own health on the line for the betterment of jiujitsu 💪 lol 😂
Can you explain the difference between a false real and reap? I’ve read false real does not put the foot on the outside of your hip in which case it’s not a reap. But here I see the foot on the outside of the hip your attacking.
Best way to explain it "false reap" is the position right before you get into a full saddle position. Acts as an In between spot to secure the saddle or stay open to more traditional options.
Combining the false reap with wrestle up threats works really well to get their focus off your feet. We'll do a follow up video to answer that question more In depth for you!
Reverse De La Riva is a really good option but like Jorge just said combining the wrestle up is gonna make your offense and your attempts the most versatile!
Thanks for the Video to my request concerning this Ankle Lock!
