Incredible tractor collection I collect CORGI toy tractors. I’ve got about 12 thought I was doing okay with a few combined harvesters. This is just incredible beyond belief and thank you for showing. Unbelievably fantastic. ❤
Yes, I miss Ray as well. At the Dyersville show he always took time to joke around with my then young daughter that a crocodile got his arm. He always had a wide warm smile on his face!
What is mind-boggling to me is the way Crilley was able to amass such a curatorial world-encompassing collection of toys before the existence of the internet. He wrote these books in the early ‘80s.
When I was a kid, I grew up on the farm and the toys we had back then. Was good ol John Deere toys. And some of my neighbors had some good ones for us to play in the sand boxes and the gardens. They don't make good toys like those any more. But amazing never the less ^^
My father made all of those glass cases and shelves in the basement there ♥️ while he was in high school! Ray was my father's Ag Science teacher ! Amazing to see his and Mr crilleys work together!

I am local to where he is from and he had a huge milk bottle collection and other dairy related goodies at a local sale barn the last couple days. He had a nice collection of antique tractors that he sold some of right after he passed. I wished that I would have met him as I have some farm toys that I have collected since the 70s and I have a couple books that he wrote.
I have a dozen G I JOES from when I was a kid, a guy offered me a hundred bucks for a camoflage poncho one had on from the 70s , I thought he was nuts, I kept it

How do you insure something like that? Or would insurance just tell you it's a bunch of toys, go to wally world and buy a new one. If anything ever happened there.
