Once again, the ending strikes back with text/voice lines and a jumpscare. I wonder if it's possible or reasonable to use something like a Text To Speech to generate custom voice lines, maybe with some filters as well. And the blue theme in the arrows and the input display fit the Sonics pretty well I'd say.
Text to speech would be good for a robot, but otherwise it lacks emotion (even the ones that sound like humans are very monotone usually). AI Voice cloning could work, although I don't have the setup for that right now and there are ethical concerns with it as well. Either way though, some characters aren't that hard to voice act yourself and apply a filter to it (for boyfriend just do a deep voice and then pitch it up an octave, Sonic.EXE do a high voice and then pitch it down an octave etc...) And yes, I've been experimenting with the arrow colors. I still have a lot of things I want to try out.
