Last night as I was watching a New Catholic being bapteized, I tried to imagine myself in the Armstrong of my Mother as I was baptized and years later, confirmed. I imagine a burning candle giving light durante these events. Today I am listening to your words and I am deeply moved. Thank you for your blessing! I received it with faith and Joy amd hope. My heart burns to hear St. Mary Magdalene- an adulterous woman with great love for Jesus first to proclaim the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Church is in a purification process and we are to stay close to Jesus on the way to Calvary. I always see you, Bishop Strickland, like our first Apostle John, close to the Heart of Jesus where other Apostles fled the scene. Here, in EU countries (where i ve been living in) we may get lucky 1x a year to get blessed by our priests, Polish priesrs are still the ones who so kindly still are willing to bless us i have heard that in the Philippines and in Africa the local priests still bless there congregations quite often How can the faith grow if our priests do not bless us?!?!
