I have serious dark circles from migraines, sinus disease and spine issues. I have never found anything that deals with them. Maybe this is the one?
And remember, they have a deeper orange. You'd just have to concealer the heck out of it after!
The color corrector looks amazing. I have very dark circles and nothing has ever made a difference. I think this may be the one. Thank you for the video it was great!!
And if you get darkness directly under the eye, they have an oranger one even but you'd REALLY have to put a lot of concealer over it.

I am always on the hunt for a miracle worker for my 22 year old dark circles. 😆 I don’t like Shape Tape either, so good to hear these aren’t as viscous(love your English background). Currently I’m liking the Bobbi Brown stick color corrector. It’s not quite a miracle, but works well and feels good. And darn it, I like that TF $60 concealer.
Tom Ford has SUCH nerve, Sheila. He's honestly such a charming thief. haha. Viscous. Word of the week. haha. I should do word of the week, Sheila!!! That would be funny. Like "makeup description word of the week."

For me and "color correctors", I find that a drier stick formula works on face because it "sticks" when foundation is applied on top. The wand creamy formula (even if heavy texture) is ok for eyes but gets blended away on face when foundation is on top (unless u are careful not to blend over discoloration)
This is an excellent point. I completely agree with this comment. And that is why the Charlotte, a bit dryer, never worked for me under the eyes
My favorite color corrector is made by Kaja but I might give the Tarte apricot a try

I've never found a color corrector that I like. I'm trying to cover blue veins on my temples. Most peach color correctors are so dark on my skin tone, and they also don't cover the veins. So far, my best success has been the light peach shade of the Elf Camo Hydrating Concealer.
I find all color correctors I've tried are too dark for my skintone too. I also just rely on concealer
Honestly, Rebecca (and Danielle), I've never found one that's any good. Just made everything on top cake while not covering anything. This one, however, I am impressed.

I always do any colour correction before my foundation because the other way round just didn’t work for me. Those correctors look AMAZING!!! The best tester out there. That’s you by the way 😂. Thanks for this, I’m off to order the peach one 😊

I have the exact same areas and colour of redness that you have so I’m thinking yellow but at the moment I use the Erborian red correct cream which is green… I’m sure either one would be fine. I need a really good color corrector. Light & medium peach isn’t covering my dark circles. And I have dry skin. My eternal quest. 😢 I wonder if that orange color or maybe the peach color of theirs will work on my light -medium skin it did well on your under eye area

YES! Def try the orange. But you'll have to use a LOT of concealer over it. I now am really liking putting on foundation AFTER. I DO get up very early since I work a lot with New York and Europe but I also schedule my video releases the day before so I def don't get up to upload. I'm sneaky. haha.

Interesting concealer, this Tarte, dear Rebecca, thanks for another wonderful review!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Wonder when the Tarte is coming to Europe! The TF i have, it's beautiful as well! More easy than the Cle de Peau one! However, i prefer that more wet/liquid formula in a concealer, for instance Pat McGrath. Most used now, the Chanel in the jar. And, i mix the Huda one with a thinner concealer, mostly Lancome, is full coverage than still, the Chanel not, but it's so beautiful!!! Gonna sleep here, puppy is quiet the last hour now, thanks, have a wonderful day!!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘

This is more like the second creamy version of the shape tape concealer. I hated the original too!

Hi lovely Rebecca !! Wow these are little gems 💎 especially the peach . I’ve had a green corrector in the past and I felt like the wicked witch of the west in wizard of Oz 🤣🤣. I heard good things about the Tom Ford concealer, but I decided to by the Tom Ford foundation stick . It took me a while to take the plunge but it’s so worth it smooth long lasting nice coverage and works just fine under my eyes . So that’s bonus 🤗💕
Bridget! This concealer from Tom Ford is exactly like that foundation but in tiny more concentrated concealer form so if you like the foundation you’ll like the concealer.

Charlotte did not work for me. Almost wasn’t creamy enough, if that makes sense. I’m sure it is user error but I just couldn’t make it give me enough coverage and I couldn’t get it concealed under the concealer.
I was skeptical, but you really ended up with a lovely look! I laughed every time the pit of despair music played. My eyes are just like yours, so I feel your pain and also amazement at the results! I've been enjoying the clinique color corrector but I think I'm going to give the peach Shape Tape a try and pick up the one for redness as well!

I love the the Tom ford perfect consistency for my under eyes! I recently brought the Huda hate it I am definitely on the spectrum of concealers as you are. I have oily skin and the Huda just was to thick and leaning on the cake side haha Great video!
Avoid KVD, original shape tape and PML concealers. They’re even thicker than Huda!!!
I will be sticking to any concealer you recommend thank you so much for doing these videos I have learned a lot about what I like and don’t like!

I totally agree with you. I have only disliked two complexion products they have ever released and they have released honestly hundreds of them.
22.. 😂😂 I’m 22 several times. Wow! That peach corrector really did the job! Very impressed. I think it worked extremely well with the concealer. The other colors did a good job also. I’ve been using the CT color corrector in the med peach shade. I will try this one when I finally use up the CT.

I like this one better under the eyes than the Charlotte. But I like the Charlotte on the face.
I picked up 2... The blue to adjust most of my foundations that aren't cool enough and the pink for under the eyes. I'm hoping the pink has enough pink to work & not just a pinkish white... But even if it is I'll still use it to lighten many of my foundations that are way too dark right now. 🧐 The chemist I shall become for a good shade match! 😁 They looked so lovely on you, I had to try them!! 🤍🤍

Oh I’m definitely trying the corrector!! I love ShapeTape concealer, so I can’t wait to try the corrector with the concealer. I started using corrector many moons ago and never stopped because of my hereditary dark circles. The first corrector I tried was from Bobbi Brown and it is still one I use. I also have the CT and Fenty correctors too.
I really think you will like this one. I have never gotten the Charlotte to work for me. It always still shows underneath make up or concealer. The shade range in this one is a little bit easier to make work
I ended up buying three of these after watching this video - pink, peach and yellow! I have struggled to find a good color corrector and I have high hopes after seeing this review! I'm so excited to try them - they looked phenomenal on you ❤

I’m 48 so less is more under my eyes and I’ve never found a colour corrector that layers nicely under my concealer. I’ve got the Nars in shade light but the Tarte looks really good on you! I also have a problem with broken capillaries and redness around my nose. I know you’ve spoken of your allergies, I seem to have a permanently runny nose (probably because I live in wales which is so cold and wet) and when I blow my nose a million times a day my concealer rubs off and I’m back to looking like Rudolph again! Maybe the green will be good for this.
Exactly Emma. My nose stays red because I’m always at it with a tissue or rubbing at it or whatever I’m doing. I think the green would be good for that. I’m just conditioned to be so afraid of green color correctors but I think it would be worth a try.

I am also pleasantly surprised with the color corrector. I am not a fan of shape tape but I think this looks really good on you! I have red puffy under eyes and usually use a Ben Nye green corrector which works really well but it can be hard to find from time to time. I am surprised that the peach shade worked so well on your red areas.
I was absolutely blown away by this. And I’m really glad that I put my ego aside and went on camera looking like that. The proof was really in the pudding. So to speak ha ha

Love this! I too have under eye pits!😞They have always been very dark. Mine get even darker with fatigue, stress and allergies. I get what derms refer to as allergic shiners. I’m very interested in the peach shade. I too love the new Tom Ford concealer. My eye area is dry and the Tom Ford blends so easily. I’m so glad to see this review. I’m definitely going to try the Tarte corrector.❤️👍😘❤️

A lazy B...🤣🤣 Hunni that be me!! Geez idk about Shape Tape. I hate the concealer in the Shape Tape formula...crease city!! I use the peach shade color corrector from Chanel for my dark circles and since you reviewed the green Smashbox primer for my redness. Matter of fact, Smashbox primers will be 50% off on March 20th during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty sale. Kinda disappointed in the sale again tho...it used to be so good!! 🤔
That Smashbox really IS excellent. I haven't tried the Chanel. I have TWO more color correctors to film this week, and one of them is green. eek!

I have to say that I was going to pass on those color correctors, but I just ordered a few of them. The Tarte site is having a 30% off sale. I think the code is FAM30. I also love the Tom Ford concealer. The one that is way too thick and too yellow (I got IVORY) and a regret is the Cle de Peau stick concealer. Another great review!
Good morning, Rabbi! I think as long as someone makes sure that they get the right Tarte shades, there is no stopping that stuff. I am now starting to use the peach shade in the tarte as an eyelid primer before I put on make up because any sort of color or darkness or anything on the eyelids is covered up and you get this beautiful flat palette for eye makeup.

I definitely had high hopes in this color corrector bc if anyone knows how to cover something it’s tarte 😂 I was hoping it wouldn’t be super dry! I can’t wait to try it! I have to use the rest of my becca n Bobbi brown first! I buy makeup like I’m an influencer w a RUclips channel 😂😂
Also tbh idk if I would waste money on the blue and white bc you can get straight pigment for that w la girl n it doesn’t change the formula of ur foundation or concealer!
I totally agree. The blue and white are silly. It’s almost like they were just showing off and we’re trying to reach an even 10 shades or something ha ha
Are you sure the Tarte doesn't crease?? That's a huge problem for me. Everything I use just creases up, especially under my eyes
Hello Kara! A few things to say. 💕 I tend to apply to the outsides of the lower eye and gently connect so that there’s not a great deal of product under the eye. And, though I don’t powder much at all, I always put just a tad bit of powder under the eye only just to keep anything from creasing. That all being said this Tarte product has a really low incidence of creasing. I really think you’d love it. The main thing it does is high dark circles around the eyes. And it does that so well 💕
Rebecca! You look absolutely amazing in this video with these products. I have been using Charlotte Tilbury peach colour corrector, which I like, even without concealer. Now that I’ve seen this, I want to try as I have dark circles, wrinkles and eye bags. I too don’t like the original Tarte concealer as I found it to settle into wrinkles. Do you think the Tom Ford would settle into wrinkles, especially after layering the corrector? X
I absolutely hated the original shape tape concealer. Too thick and caked. The Tom Ford , however, is truly creamy and comfortable and hydrating. I have not had it crease and I am the queen of concealer creases.

You'll have no problems from me as a competing Beauty Channel on RUclips. There's no way that I'm anywhere near brave enough to show my bare face on a public platform. I must say that those few products shown really did a tremendous job. The difference was quite amazing! You must know that TF is so extremely expensive when you mentioned the concealer being US$60.00 and I say to myself, "It's the cheap one!" as I try to work out which it is. I've had my 'green' experience with colour corrector and just decided they weren't for me. I'm better off with the bare minimum of product on my face and much prefer fresh air.🇦🇺💖🕊
Kris, the worst part is I have three of these concealer and color correct or videos coming out and in all three I have to go on camera with nothing on my face. It’s like some sort of cathartic emotional experience. And that’s just for the audience ha ha
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty You're a braver woman than me Rebecca! I couldn't do it. I frighten myself when looking in the mirror! I'd never inflict that intentionally on anyone else who didn't deserve it. Those colour correctors worked very well and with little effort, so you don't show your naturalness to everyone for very long in the first video at least. I'm still freaking out about my caved in face due to the severe weight loss I experienced again, after I reacted badly to the COVID Vaccine and became very ill. On top of this, I broke my arm in three places which dropped my weight even more. To make matters worse, I literally do not have a stomach, not by choice either. No matter what I attempt to consume, I cannot add any weight. All I can do is exercise as much as possible in the attempt to bulk up my muscles. This has actually had some good success on my body but not on my face which remains caved in. Also, over the last few months since receiving the bad news, I wasn't able to carry out my exercise regime nor any other physical activity due to my increased levels of pain. I'm a complete mess! It will take time to rebuild again but I'm still worried about my gaunt face. Anyone who looks at me and is envious of my tiny figure seriously need to have their heads read! Even when in hospital due to my body consuming every last fat cell, a nurse stated how skinny I was and followed this up with - "I wish I looked that that". I retorted with a quick, sharp "no you dont". When you're on the verge of passing out when lying down up to half a dozen times per day, that's not healthy! Why can't people see that being so very thin is not healthy nor a good look? I'm thinner than the models used to display fashion. That's not a good thing. I only wish that people wake-up to how unhealthy it is, especially when becoming ill, that it's not a good thing to be so tiny.
If you discover a magical cure for plumping up the face, please let me know. I even forked out for the YSL Pure Shots Plumping Cream but no miracles yet. I actually bought the whole range only to have them announce that the Lines Away Serum is most likely being deleted! Of all Serums, why on earth would they delete the most popular of ailments we all are concerned about? I did contact them but they weren't about to spill any secrets. It's so funny hearing you, as it's like hearing myself being obsessed with my gaunt face! You brighten up my days!💖

Rebecca I am so shocked at how Tarte has captured my attention this year more then any other brand. I feel like they are playing to their strength with the face products rather than eyeshadow (let’s be honest only the large Juicy palette seemed to go viral). Thanks for doing the review before foundation to really judge if they work. I would count your before as mild redness - I have rosacea and tend to go for full coverage only.
Amber! I think if you got either the darker orange shade or the green shade it might be really helpful with rosacea. A good friend of mine has rosacea on the tip of her nose and has so much trouble getting something that will cover and remain there. And I’ve recommended this for her as well. It’s a tough one to beat.
